Beautiful area to hunt for sure 👍, I usually have good luck with a little calling bring one in, some times to close :) Different year & to many wolves lots of places people had them come but they never answered when you call, With that many around I'm sure your luck will change :) Good luck
Great video Braden. I'm in the market for an electronic moose caller. What is your opinion on the cocall. I'd love to hear your comments. Keep the videos comming
great video buddy thanks for sharing! A bit of constructive criticism(not trying to be negative at all don’t take this the wrong way) you need to be much quieter when calling. those bulls in close are just listening for something to sound or smell off. Drop the volume on the call and call less frequent, and cut out the chatter when they get close and lock up. and more often they will show. Cheers bud looking forward to the next one!!
You’re right yes …. that one bull already knew we were there. The wind is blowing directly towards him. Most of the time we rarely even talk when moose are close… remember in the intro how I said I used a lot of audio enhancing? I said that to myself when I was editing, and we sound like we’re making a racket lol ! It’s just audio enhanced 🤣
I love the videos but please get rid of that electronic caller for bull grunts it nowhere near sounds natural. Could be part of problem of him not coming close... but besides that good action for sure..
Thanks ! We have to beg to differ. From a distance this caller sounds extremely real. It could just be, the sound is so close to the camera. It makes it sound bad , I almost guarantee that’s what it is lol 😆
I wonder was it because you called to much and aggressive ..I'm no expert and i have only called in 4-5 moose but i found once i had one's attention there was a sound on the foxpro called "Moose OOH WAH" I would hit that after the bull would grunt and stop ...then i would stop and not use it again till he grunted back ..after a while he would come running.
@@LiveToHuntAndFish we don’t think so. The fella we were with got his moose here 2 night before calling back and forth with a bull. They get so aggressive sometimes … We think they knew we were there with the swirling wind
@@Braydencoish Right on ..I did notice that those cows Skinned out of there pretty fast and figured that was a wind thing .. I was surprised the bull came back out for look though.. to bad he didn't step out of the woods further.
Nothing wrong with this rifle. I don’t have see thru scope mounts ? I have an over / under. This rifle is great for the close range timber hunting I do ! I don’t plan on bombing shots out to 700 yards 😆 I do however plan on getting a newer modern 308 !

I’ll Keep that in mind ! Thanks for watching !
Shouldn't you be wearing a helmet buddy?
Legally I don’t need one. It just gets in the way when your carrying gear. I don’t go over 20 km/ h when ridin without one ( per the law )
Great video ! But man, get yourself a decent rifle and scope...See-thru mounts are a thing of the past...
