A draft prospect to watch for the Packers would be DB Renardo Green out of FSU. He's projected to go in the 5th or 6th round, but basically the only coverage he plays is press man. I had never heard of him before, but saw a draft prospect sleeper video, and he was in it. He looks incredible playing press, and I had to do some digging to figure out why he's not expected to go higher. The only thing I could find was maybe his speed, but we should find out when the combine and pro days happen.
He is an interesting prospect I think Jarrian Jones would make more sense from FSU to play the slot.
@@jakem3546 I brought him up because he literally does everything that I've seen Hafley teach in the videos I have watched. I'm sure they would want better athletes to play the position, but Green wouldn't break the bank at all.
I take Green on a lot of mocks. His RAS was actually high but now he looks more like an early day 3 pick as opposed to a later one

We are switching from a 2-4 to a 4-2. On run downs that becomes 3-4 to a 4-3. Meaning you bring in an extra LB instead of any extra DLinemen. Meaning the return of the Thumper run stopping LB. Anyone got Jake Ryan's number?
Unfortunately they need both Safety positions to make it work. I believe they'll have to bring back Savage and draft another. The two guys they need in this draft are Cooper Dejean and Kamren Kinchens, though I'm not sure they can draft both.
I'm generally more interested in the timing of our blitzes and which ones we will run most often. The fewer all out blitzes and three man rushes the better.
Their going to use Quay like Parsons this one dude from Georgia said the hardest tackle in his life came from Quay😂😂😂

I don't think we should rule out either. I hope the decision of going with a 4-3 or 3-4 will be based on our talent and what makes us a better defense.
Depends on how big and how deep your front 4 are
Hafley used DEs standing up at BC. Not sure what he will do in the pros, but it doesn’t make sense change to something that’s working well. The Pack do well rushing with guys standing up. Really the 3-4 and 4-3 is the difference of a LB and DT. The Pack will probably run multiple fronts. The backend will be significantly different. The Pack will probably run a base cover 2 scheme and disguise cover 1 and cover 3 as such. Nobody plays press coverage more than 30% of the time. You can only really press within 5 yards of the line of scrimmage. 70% of the time, the corners are still going to play at least 6 yards back. There’s a lot of exaggeration about press coverage. The Pack need batter safeties and linebackers to make it work.
False. In a true 4/3 defensive ends are spill players meaning when they read run into the b or even A gap they crash down and spill the ball to the outside for the linebackers. 4/3 is for grown men on the edge.
