It's because Adrian use a "Dimarzio Super Distorition" pickup in his Strat, Dave & Janick uses the "Seymour Duncan Hot Rails", these pickups has less power, and of curse, less volume, but it doesn't mean that Seymour's pickups are bad at all, in fact, for the studio are very good, but... if you want more power for the stage, better try the Dimarzio S.D. There is a lot of models in both trademarks, Dimarzio have low power pickups, and Seymour have high power too

This song is one of the best from "Dance of Death", along with Montsegur and Journeyman. i didn't like "A Matter of Life and Death", but Maiden still got what it takes to make a kick ass gig
