This kit is NO JOKE!!! My 2019 Rebel jumps like a Leopard. My torque feels like rockets and the increase in speed is scary as hell! Best truck purchase made to date for a no tuned Ram Rebel!!! Sorry, did I mention my milage went from 13 to 16 mpg???
Just an fyi for all of you out there. What these guys fail to tell us (because I just did it myself 2021 5.7) when you are removing the airflow sensor/temperature sensor it does not just "wiggle out" there are times like in my case where there is glue keeping the sensor from even turning. So when I turned mine I had to use a slight amount of force to break the glue and also break the two plastic pieces on the inside of the sensor because it would not come loose. I'm looking at his video and he to is missing the two wings made of plastic that are on the inside of the pipe. So I'm just putting this out there for all of you just know you may be breaking it as you turn. My sensor is slightly damaged but is still useable.
@@JasonSetley dumb question here- but why the need to disconnect the neg terminal? Is it to prevent a potential computer error reading while doing the swap?
Just completed a 2021 no problem just a little tedious. Connectors didn’t break and i did not disconnect negative terminal. All is good and works great. Good idea though to disconnect negative terminal. This is my second hemi install with diff kits
@@OEFveteran2010 with the exhaust there is no drone sound but you can hear the exhaust when cruising along but not nearly to an annoying level. The Atak would 100% be to loud for of a constant hum when driving normally. The cai doesn't make a sound until you floor it. 100% recommend both for any Ram!
I noticed that you didn't take the o-ring off of the Air Temperature Sensor. I've watched other videos for the same truck and intake and they say to remove this. Is there a reason you didn't remove the o-ring before installing into the grommet?
My order arrives in a few days . Can anyone tell me because I see it in different videos . But do you have to disconnect the negative terminal on the battery?
The K&N website specifically says this isn't for an etorque engine. However, I've heard from some that it's just because of a snug initial fit. Do you have any more details? I'd love to know if I can use the 77 series without much hassle.
Even if not Cali legal, California doesn't do smog test until the vehicle is 8 years old, unless it's sold or traded-in, then 4-years old. Smog test after that are every other year, so if it's easy to install, just change it before your smog test.

Thinking about getting one myself. This was an awesome video. Even better no tune required for it .

also important to disconnect the negative terminal on your battery

Excellent tutorial, put this on my 2024 ram 1500 and it was a breeze things to your video. Much appreciated.
Just installed this. Your video kept the manual sealed tightly in the bag it came in. Thanks for the info!
Very easy to follow, simple video. Installed my new K&N Cold Air Intake from American Trucks on my 2020 Ram Bighorn with ease! Thanks
Appreciate the 5th Gen vids!
My trucks comin along just fiiine! ✌🏼🙌🏼🍻
I have this on my Ram and love it! The sound it makes when you hammer it down is awesome. Pair it with an exhaust system and your golden.
@@tennesseelondon4623 I already installed a Borla S-type cat back. Highly recommend!

Thanks for the love, Jae! We appreciate it! -Zach
if i install this on my truck would it void my warranty? dealers find a reason to void

I wonder how it would effect the Diablo pulsar tuner. Good or bad ?? Any thoughts or tests ?
I have both..no issues..just a fast ass truck!
Why does this make more hp than the 63 series on the Ram?
My order arrives in a few days .
Can anyone tell me because I see it in different videos . But do you have to disconnect the negative terminal on the battery?
I personally would! That will give your engine a chance to adjust to the new air intake after installing. -Zach
Have you tried installing this on the 2022? I can't find any confirmation that they are compatable. Thanks!
does this model fit with e torque engines as well
You don’t need to disconnect the battery like all the other videos negative terminal?
No you don't need to disconnect the battery!
How much hp does it add?
K&N claims a dyno tested 15.1 HP gain.
Would this intake fit the 2022 ram too?
should. if not this exact one, k&n will have an updated 2022 version, but i believe its the same.
How much hp gain from the 77 on a 5.7 hemi
up to 15hp

I’m wondering the same too.
Anyone know?

Do you think this CAI will still fit with a throttle body spacer?
It works fine. I installed both on my 2021 without any issues
