      I disagree. BJ was a solid role player and was good in the clutch, but he was basically John Paxson with better handles. The most underrated player on those Bulls championship teams imo is Horace Grant. Everyone talks about Rodman but the fact is Grant played the same role for the Bulls during their 1st three peat and had the same level of success (namely 3 championships in a row).

      Not tryna correct u but BJ played defense, created his own shots and got to the lane finishing high off the glass with floaters. He was so much better than Steve Kerr who was a spot up shooter.

    • @Amick44
      @Amick44 6 років тому +1

      @@jamtv3258 He was. Paxson, too. Each were decent starters on a strong team. Kerr wouldn't start on ANY team in the league. Only in dire case of injuries. BJ and Pax were at least adequate in some areas. Kerr a great shot, nothing else.

    • @jamtv3258
      @jamtv3258 6 років тому +2

      @@Amick44 Yeah. BJ was an All-Star the year Michael retired. And he was an outstanding player at the University of Iowa. He was a really tough Defender and created his own shots. Kerr was a little better shooter than John Paxson but Paxson was a gritty get under your skin type player who not only shot well but ran the break and finished well with layups.

      The BADBOY Pistons actually should get some credit for the Bulls success because Isaiah and Rodman used to really mistreat the young Scottie, BJ, and to some extinct MJ.
      Those early lossess and beatdowns at the hands of the Pistons helped propel the Bulls into prominence.
      Isaiah also had Paxson punked out too he could not handle Zeke's NWA persona. Lol.

    If BJ and Greg Oden hung out and I was told one was 30 and one is 51 I'd put my money on Oden every time

    man tex gonna be missed wish teams would run the triangle more and get easy shots instead of shooting so many 3 pointers.

      Rasuke11 Do you realize how much the league has changed in the last 8 seasons? It's almost a different sport now. The triangle is an antiquated offense in today's NBA. Blame Adam Silver for that.

    • @mohammedalam6630
      @mohammedalam6630 6 років тому

      thats irrelevant just like you need steph curry and klay thompson to play a 3 ball centric offense the triangle requires fundamentally sound offensive and defensive players with footwork. If those kind of players are running the triangle offense its irrelevant what adam silver or golden state warriors do in terms of shooting. This is because the team running the triangle would get much easier which are layups and mid range jumpers. You can shoot all the threes you want but dont tell me its not a much harder shot go practice on a court the farther you shoot from the basket the harder it is to make it. Its not an accident Houston missed all those 3 pointers in game 7. GSW made 16 3s to the rockets 7. Thats a point differential of 27 yet they only won by 9. Why is this because in the first half Houston was crushing them in the paint. Its only because houston started jacking up 3s that they lost. Had they continued to pound the ball inside they would have dominated. Thats why the triangle is so important because it creates a much more balanced offense were your not just jacking up 3s but also you are taking advantage of the weakness of your enemy as well as getting easier shots closer to the basket.Even today analytics has made it clear layups and dunks are the highest percentage shots which the triangle excels better than any other offense at getting.

      Fun fact: Steve Kerr and his crew actually designed the Warriors' offense with elements of the triangle offense in mind. That, along with of course the Splash Brothers' and KD's great shooting, are a couple of the biggest factors of why the Dubs are so damned dominant.

Please don't tell me how jordan willed and lead his team with his sheer intelligence and will, when he had two of the greatest basketball minds the NBA has seen
