    Living in Chicago all through the Bulls runs ...I love Dennis Rodman...Rodman was hated by Bulls fans at one time for the same reason he is loved by them, his passion and game. He came to the Bulls and was such an instrumental piece to the Bulls ships and he is just so loved and respected in Chicago to this day. He greeted every fan warmly, bought people drinks when he was out, and he left every piece of himself out on the floor each game. I cannot say enough about Rodman's character and the person he is. They can say all they want about him going to North Korea, but only DR could pull that off. He is a legend and deserves only good things in his life.

    The late 80s through the late 90s and into the early 2000s, for me this was the peak of some of the best basketball ever played by some of the best players the league has produced. Scottie, when you listen to him, he, Rodman as well, they just sound so humble and appreciative of having the opportunities they did and play at the highest level of the game they love. I could really listen to them talk for hours and not get tired, they are just great human beings and I don't feel like today's players are like that, I don't know how to describe it but players back then we're just more interesting as players and people off the court.

    @28:13 Rodman is right. Players nowadays don't have the passion anymore. To them this is only a job they know how to take advantage of in terms of money and fame (which they use to make more money from advertising etc.). And that's why I am so happy I've lived through the 90s NBA!

    I wish more pro athletes took the same stance as Dennis. The stars in any sport are all paid so well. So many of them can provided for their families for generations to come if they invest wisely. Why then can't their focus become about winning titles, and representing whatever team and city they play for proudly? He's a five time champion with countless individual accolades and no one can take that away from him. He played his heart out every game, no can ever question his effort and that makes him one of the greatest ever.

    My top three players of All-Time......is Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen and Dennis Rodman and I have always thought Scottie revolutionized the big Forward position like Dennis stated......it is refreshing to see these two having each others backs after all these years...there will never be another era quite like the 90s Chicago Bulls era....I never missed a Bulls game from 91 to 98.....my kids will attest to that they always had to watch the Bulls games with their Daddy!

      Amen brother!! I also gree up in the 80s and 90s as I was born in 1982 so I was fortunate to have lived thru that era as a young person and experience what it was like and there is just no comparison between the last ten or 15 years to those two decades especially the 90s in anything really. Not only sports but to me everything was just so much better then, sports, music, movies, television, the world lol. But those 90s bulls teams especially the second three peat bulls were just so special and in a league of their own in every way. It's hard to really explain now just what it was like. And there really won't ever be anything like it again.

    • @tomkee4479
      @tomkee4479 2 роки тому +1

      And Dennis rodman was just a different cat lol but In a good way. I didn't know till recent just how his basketball IQ is but I did know and still believe he def is the greatest rebounder in history and that is a huge accomplishment for a 6ft7 or so forward. And he became that during the era of the game still being a big man's game. It wasn't like it is today, he was in the trenches with some of the greatest and biggest centers of all time 7ft plus centers and he still pulled down more rebounds than anyone. But he also is one of the greatest defensive players ever as well. He's right there with Scottie who was a nightmare lockdown defender.

It makes a lot of sense of how he probably saw himself, in context of him and the Bulls. He was a Piston joining the Bulls. I just love seeing the loyalty. Bad Boys 4L

    I knew from back then Dennis grew up as an orphan, but had no idea he was homeless for two years... That is an amazing thing to overcome. Has Dennis ever shared how he lived, or what he used to think about back in those dark times, with no family, no less? And how he finally got out of that?

    Scotties voice blew my speakers 😂 these 2 could hang in today's game or any era they were ahead of they're time athletic but most importantly they had high basketball IQ. I honestly think they could have won one more year and respectfully handed the torch in the 2000s after 4 or 5 straight wins
