Best thing, with your gear, is that, even if you sell it it, you can still use their look, on your current gear. You can change gears apperience, and make it look like the older, weaker gear, that you sold, and it will still be the stronger gear. It's only in apperience it's the old gear. I have the wierdest gear eccuipped on my character, but I look fabulous, because I've used the "change apperience" button. I do it, everytime, I get better, and stronger gear. I just LOVE that you - kinda - don't loose the gear you sold. So you actually don't need all those slots for gear in you inventory at all.
Oh yeah. So glad it's given to us from the start and it isn't locked behind money or level requirements like in AC Valhalla & God of War. That should be the standard for RPGs with gear systems.
Yes. I just wish other games would stop putting obstacles in the way of transmog. Every gamer knows that the number one thing we care about in any game is FASHION!

Definitely, you don’t want to loot every chest at once. The game does you a favor by locking so many doors, because chest level is your character’s level.
You can buy legendary stuff at your level at gladrags though and you should be rich in endgame levels, and just wait using the map 5 times to reset the stock til you got a good legendary for all 6 slots

Just started playing about a month ago Held on to the game unopened for a few months while I finished the Witcher 3 for the 1000th time. I instantly got hooked and havnt removed the game from the console since I started. I'm level 27 now and I have about 15 hours invested or so. Feels like it's about 200 hours left because I havnt really done anything aside from enough story missions to bump into Halloween. The entire castle and all of hogsmeade and surrounding hamlets all decorate full out for Halloween and its the coolest thang ever. I love how the seasons change as the 5th year goes along. I love that it's a prequel to all the movies but still has Easter eggs from the movies. The combat is my favorite and after u get all the talent sets tuned to your liking it makes the combat easier to encounter unexpectedly. Flying around on the broom is absolutely fantastic. The maps are actually huge and Hogwarts castle has to be one of the coolest places I've ever explored on a video game. The puzzles remind me of THE SANDS OF TIME prince of Persia from Playstation 2. I'm in no hurry to finish the game but the hat suggested me to Slytherin so I accepted it and I'm looking forward to doing another playthru with the black and gold Hufflepuff house so I can get to Azkaban. So far it's one of the best games I've ever played and I hope they add more DLC add-ons in the future for more quests whether side or main story line.
Would be nice to be able to pay some money or resources to upgrade older lower level legendary items up to your current level to keep them as relevant as possible.
One of the best guides I've seen yet along w/ the video from your same channel that brought me to this one. It actually says how to use the spell and what to do. Most just show the in-game information and pretend to be guides. Thank you for actually playing the game and putting the work in.

Everyone says the Brooms sold by vendors are the same, but I swear I can feel a difference in all of them. The descriptions for them hint at what they might be better at, too.
Might be like the bikes in Pokemon Emerald, that the prices are all the same but every kind of broom is a bit different indeed. Don't know if that's the thing, havent got a broom in game yet
Somehow I was able to get the black lightning broom as my first choice for 2000 gold. I don’t know what I did in advance to have that option available when I came around to doing the quests to attain the broom

They should add an additional skill for your wand where whenever you’re in combat, your last basic wand attack will actually be an randomized attack spell from your roster whether it’s dark-arts or whatever.

eh, it’s level based. so a level 1 legendary is worthless to a level 40 character for example. you keep the transmog for it though so can keep the look if you like it even after beaking it. plus, legendary gear in this game isnt all that special, the only difference is the level of enchantment you can give it. legendaries can have level 3 enchantments, rares level 2 and uncommon level 1’s. but it’s usually only the difference of a few %. honestly the loot system in this game feels like it was just bolted onto the money and fashion aspects. like they wanted you to get a lot of diffrent looking robes and things to make yourself unique in the world, but then they needed a reason to keep colecting things and money was a thing they needed for supplies and things. can tell it wasnt that thiught out as sell costs are based on rarity rather than stats. ie, a level 1 rare sells the same as a level 40 rare.
Iam just wondering, is there a difference in the gear you get if you open legendary chest as level 10 vs opening it on higher level? Because I opened a few, got some leg.items, but now as I progress through the story and leveling up I get gear that is stat-wise better than the legendary I got from the chest

Focus or sides first. It let you earn more xp (therefore, talents), spells and better pieces or equipments. I'd also say don't neglect Herbology classes, Potion classes and beast classes and anything related to that. They are costy at first in Spellcraft and Seeds, but it's worth it.

After i cleared my gear and went back the chests look open but i didn't get any item from them. Also if i use revelio they shine yellow as if i didn't opened them. Is this a bug or i just lost those 2 legendary items forever? Another question would be, if i reach the max level let's say and i don't have full legendary set, will there be an option to upgrade gear ? should i keep legendary items or sell them after i found another ones that are better but lower rarity ?
What u have noticed is certain gear only pops up in your appearance slots. I mainly see it with items that are duplicates but different colors will be added to your appearance changes and isn't an actual item with stats. I wish there was a way to tell the difference.

Just completed the story, it was awesome! Played on normal mode it was very easy I died one time the whole game by falling and once from Ranrok. I didn't even use more than 15 talent points. Very fun!
No. Just the 72 hours of gameplay. I'm loving playing it early but I really should have waited. I never wear the dark arts cosmetic items and the battle arena is late game from my understanding.
I managed to find the dark arts battle arena quite early in the forbidden forest. I personally love the dark arts cosmetics, so for me it is so worth it, especially with the early access. I believe it was only €15 more than the regular edition, so to me that’s a fair price for the benefits.
@@lbschangemylife I liked the Dark Arts arena to farm exp quickly and challenges, but you don't need to be late game to play it. But it's not worth it, the best thing about the deluxe edition was the 72h. But I think the extra mission (the haunted shop) was really, really fun, a headache, but fun.
The deluxe edition has all the extras the standard edition has plus the dark arts pack for $80 US. The standard edition is $70 US. You can buy the dark arts pack as DLC for $20. So, the standard edition + DLC will cost $90. $10 more than the deluxe version. If you want everything that's available atm, deluxe is cheaper.🏰⚡
It’s appearance only. You find it by going to your gear, selecting a type of gear and pressing square instead of x. I don’t know the options for pc but if you hover over the type of gear you will see the options.
I wouldn’t call 10 hours into the game “pretty early on”. I think I was level 15 or 16 before I got to those talents. That’s definitely not early in the game unless you play way faster than I do.
i have the pc version and i swear i have seen that so called PS only mission just stopped going to any where in the town as i no longer needed to to finish the storyline
Hahaha. "Early" in this game is a highly relative term. I just got the second tier to lock picking, at tier I for my broom. And I have 14 hours in game already. lol.

9:30 there's also a legendary chest around that area outside, behind a greenhouse, before you get to the hidden part.

I just read the book and walked through the archway. The maze only activates going in through the proper direction.

You missed explaining that the Hedge Mazes show up Randomly throughout the game once they appear on the map then you can go and solve them

It's behind a locked door. You'll need to learn Alohomora first.
Use Revelio and you should see the moth highlighted through the walls.

No. Just the 72 hours of gameplay. I'm loving playing it early but I really should have waited. I never wear the dark arts cosmetic items and the battle arena is late game from my understanding.
I managed to find the dark arts battle arena quite early in the forbidden forest. I personally love the dark arts cosmetics, so for me it is so worth it, especially with the early access. I believe it was only €15 more than the regular edition, so to me that’s a fair price for the benefits.
@@lbschangemylife I liked the Dark Arts arena to farm exp quickly and challenges, but you don't need to be late game to play it. But it's not worth it, the best thing about the deluxe edition was the 72h.
But I think the extra mission (the haunted shop) was really, really fun, a headache, but fun.
The deluxe edition has all the extras the standard edition has plus the dark arts pack for $80 US. The standard edition is $70 US. You can buy the dark arts pack as DLC for $20. So, the standard edition + DLC will cost $90. $10 more than the deluxe version. If you want everything that's available atm, deluxe is cheaper.🏰⚡

So I keep finishing field guide challenges and claiming the gear... But it's not in my inventory? Is that normal??
It’s appearance only. You find it by going to your gear, selecting a type of gear and pressing square instead of x. I don’t know the options for pc but if you hover over the type of gear you will see the options.
Does this game has companions that can follow you and help you around the world while free roaming besides the plants?

I wouldn’t call 10 hours into the game “pretty early on”. I think I was level 15 or 16 before I got to those talents. That’s definitely not early in the game unless you play way faster than I do.
i have the pc version and i swear i have seen that so called PS only mission just stopped going to any where in the town as i no longer needed to to finish the storyline

My broom upgrade upgraded within one minute, I stayed in the store and then one minute later it said it was read in the inventory to buy

Hahaha. "Early" in this game is a highly relative term. I just got the second tier to lock picking, at tier I for my broom. And I have 14 hours in game already. lol.
I'm over six hours and haven't even gotten a broom yet
@@OGbrundle Oh, it's a slow slog. I'm at around 20 hours, did a lot of side stuff. And I'm about 1/2, maybe a little less, through the main story. lol. It's single player. Might as well take it in and enjoy the ambiance.
