Since varsity been dreaming of driving a polo vivo, but after following this guy, I ended up seeing that there are other options offering better than polo. M driving a swift glx now bcz of Mr Muzi👏👏
For a second I also thought they were trying to pull some silly stunt, I almost moered a U-Turn🔃😂...and that road is not busy, anything can happen there🤞🏾😢
I once drove a 1.9LS 4x2 auto on the exact same White River / Hazyview / Bushbuck route. Got consumption in the high 7’s, low 8’s. I also felt it had sufficient power. Stay with the cloth seats - the fabric is actually quite nice and comfy. Leather means maintenance. Use osram nightbreakers to give a slight improvement to the light throw of the headlamps. Stick with the std 17” factory wheels for better ride quality. It’s a great bakkie, overall.
Dankie as always for the honest review. They just opened a Foton dealership infront of our office. Can you please do the Lord's work and review their bakkie?
Dude your channel is a treasure-trove of advice. I didn't even know you could negotiate on a new car price. Never stop. Also, please do a review on the Toyota Starlet Cross.
Muzi my view on getting a bakkie is to sell the swift as mamaka snowy is enjoying the baleno then the 320d becomes your daily driver. In the video when you went to collect the swift you ended it by giving some good advice I believe even now that advice applies 😊thank you for the videos you have been posting over the years they've made us see cars very differently 😊
Get yourself the 1.9 Muzi and you will not go wrong. My mate at work has one double cab with 110KW and 350NM. that is good enough to tow and etc. they drive so lovely. just a great thing thing to have
I'm sitting with the same dilemma. I have a Ford Figo 2018 trend model, and I want to buy an Isuzu d max extended cab... I don't want to sell my Ford, I'm basically driving for free with that car and it's fully paid off... And, I also need a work horse... Decisions decisions...
@nkosanangobese6048 because I work full time on site. I am using rented/company bakkies on site and I want to convince the company to pay me for using my own (this will be a win for me because kuzoba ne bakkie endlini - everyone has either a SUV or a Sedan/hatchback )
Great video! Love the D-Max, though I can't afford a decent one ! I got my BMW E91, 2012, which I love! Love from Germany, I do have friends and relatives in 🇿🇦 !!
The chat of smaller capacity engines when it comes to diesel bakkies for fuel economy is misleading, the difference in fuel economy of the 3.0 and the 1.9 is insignificant, the 1.9 will just be working much harder to achieve what the 3.0 achieves easily, with some weight in the bed you'll be revving the guts out of that 1.9, using about the same amount of diesel as the 3.0 if not more, get the 3.0 ls and drive it around for a bit, you'll see what I'm talking about, work has me driving around in bakkies alot, I'm somewhat familiar with the dmax and the hilux Enjoying the reviews man, keep them coming
You're absolutely right. Smaller engines are not always great in terms of fuel economy and I noticed that with the Polo GTI. The difference in consumption between 1.0 TSI and 2.0 GTI is negligible, unless you're driving like a mad man. I'll try to source the 3.0 D-Max and see how it goes. Thanks for the insight👊🏽
I can confidently say the isuzu is a great car my brother in law has one that refuses to break😂 It’s a lifetime car I would say sell the Suzuki swift brother the baleno is amazing and nice and powerful Dont even look at hilux and ranger really I would rather look even at navara in used market youl get a very top spec model and that 2.3/2.5 engines are bullet proof and efficient
I wonder how the 4x4 affects fuel consumption on this car compared to the 4x2. Please get the 4x2 1.9 on your one tank challenge so we can see how that fairs. Maybe they’ll give you an X Rider. The 4x4 is quite heavy.
Drove 1 in Australia last year for almost 6 months, was base model but had adaptive cruse control and lane assist plus android auto. best bakkie I've driven.
Great review. We will wait patiently for your review of the Toyota 2.4 GD6. Having driven one, i would like to see if my experience would be similar to yours.
Consumption between autos and manuals differ because autos decide decide to be themselves when to change gears when it comes to manuals you decide before revs goes high
Backwards world we live in where a person has to be afraid to buy something with his hard earned money because someone out there is waiting to steal it😮💨
If badge or brand snobbery its not a thing in SA...visit Mitsubishi dealer to check out a Triton before buying yhis uncomfortbale noisy truck might be ideal...Triton is japenese and it is relieable as an Isuzu. The Triton GL that compares to this LS is well priced even.
@MuziSambo eeeeeish. That is sad reality indeed, and the japanese like Honda and Mitsubishi with no assembly plants in SA are shrinking even further with market share shiffing towards the affordable chinese brands.
@MuziSambo Could you please do a review for a Nissan Navara. Those cars are so good and I don't think most motor journalist do good by them same goes for the Mazda BT-50 and Mitsubishi Triton, Excellent Japanese engineering the always gets the short end of the stick 😪
🤔Which car must go?
A. Swift
B. Baleno 👈🏼🫣

you must pass the polo or vw stage
Same here, Muzi has done some eye opening for me.
O weak😂
@@davidshongwe5037 Great decision👍🏽💯
The 1.9 tdi Golf 4/ Jetta or polo 1.9 tdi are very underrated
Not me looking the whole of this video as if I have money 😂
Same here, but one day is one day
5:18 Definitely sell the swift, the Baleno is the sweet spot for me since the BMW is not an option
Second this vote 👍🏾🙅🏾♂️Swift must go
finally we got the video after 5years😁😁
I just love the fact that our 320d is not in the conversation when y'all consider selling, i love it.😂😂😂
Right on time.... I been monitoring this car lately.
Otherwise, welcome back... finally found the password in the ocean I guess.
I saw the tipper truck blocking the road I was like it’s chai here goes the bakkie 😂😂
For a second I also thought they were trying to pull some silly stunt, I almost moered a U-Turn🔃😂...and that road is not busy, anything can happen there🤞🏾😢

You review cars that makes sense Muzi
As a Dmax owner you did it justice - thank you for the great review.
"an arm and a leg plus one eye" its tough in the market yooooh😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Can you review Nissan Navara.
Triton 2022 R529900.00 on 77000km on auto trader 🤷🏾♂️ Bitso, low theft risk, reliable as a Toyota or Isuzu, does bakkie things proper.
Why that bakkie is overlooked is beyond me.
And it's fast

I Don't Don't trust any of the CCP Cars!
its safe to say those secret compartments under the rear seats are no longer a secret
The D-Max is a great car, reliability-wise it is much better than the Ranger.

consider the GWM STEED as well. it is a great looking bakkie. my neighbor has it and hasn't complained of anything yet

That testing centre side joke was kak funny. Mostly because that's exactly what they would say
I was going to sell one hatchback to balance out the variants you have in the yard. In my opinion the Swift can go.

The problem with Mitsubishi is dealer network. In Nelspruit they are under Mercedes and people are complaining about the customer service there🥴

Y not take a risk with the gwm p series I think that will be nice or just showing the ownership reality of a Chinese car
Can you explain more about in house finance. Nd how it works
The dealership cooks you with their own interest rate (bank not included in deal)
