I also use ziplock bags. However, I group several in a bag. Then, I stand them upright in a cardboard box, so that I can just flip through them, to find what I need. Works well enough...
I actually do that, but like t1d100 I put several of the same configuration in each bag. The problem with me is in mobility. I'll get a cable from the box, use it for a while then not put it back because it's not convenient at the time. So, they end up moving around and being put in places they don't belong, etc..
@@uni-byte I have a huge desk, for my bench. So, I can keep my box just off of my left shoulder. That might sound good, but it really isn't that great. If you have the floor room, how about a filing cabinet, next to your bench? They are dirt cheap, at the thrift stores -$5USD.
I have basically the same transistor tester but mines the original through-hole kit version. I recently 3d printed a case for mine that made it much more convenient to use. It's not a bad tester but I wish the frequency generator was a bit better.
A DIY Marking Gauge can be a fun woodworking project, if you have some basic tools. And, you end up with a serviceable tool that provides great satisfaction, for years to come. YT and Google have designs.
I actually have a nice woodshop. I've not used in in many year due to my career, then it more and more got used as a store room. No it's near totally inaccessible. I need to clean that out!!
I have 6 of them. I added microphone circuit modules and small battery packs, but I need to design small audio compressors for them to make them really useful for my projects.
Aliexpress ads with inaccurate info, or missing critical info, i.e. frequency, current, power output, etc drives me crazy. There have been several things I've passed on because they simply lack basic specs.
Right now I am looking for a DSP board on aliexpress. Product descriptions are nonsense. I need to study pictures attached to figure out what is being offered. But the prices are good.
I have just ordered the GM-328A. AFTER I placed the order they offered me a GM-328A / GM-328B case. The description was MOST UNHELPFUL to say the least. I chose an option under "Colour" called "DIY Case". The reviews tell me that it "probably won't fit" my device. To bring the cost up to the Free Shipping limit I picked up the Infinity Pencil, 2 sets of Black nibs and 2 sets of Colour nibs. To avoid fruitless searching I clicked on the link in the Item Description rather than the general link. I am in the market for a MESR 100 ESR Meter. They show lots of options from around € 20 to about € 60. All of the images seem to be identical and I didn't proceed with the purchase because of the various pricing options for the SAME item.
Thanks for your support. I just looked up that MESR. It's really hard to know which is the right one to move ahead with. There seem to be way too many choices and you can't really tell what you'll get.
Jeff Bezos has a few listed. He is probably a bit more reliable than Alibaba. His prices are very similar to the upper range of AliExpress so I will order the device from him when I get paid by my Pension Provider.
I use individual ziplock bags, one for each cable. That way you can clearly see the ends and separate them.

@@t1d100 I'll have to look into that. My lab needs some re-arranging and I'll think about a filing cabinet. There's lots of stuff I move out too.

I like the ESP32-CAMs. The camera is not too bad in my opinion

Nice to hear that it works well.

Totally agree.
