The Supportive and Palliative Care team at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics gives care and support for patients and families living with serious illness, whether that illness is curable, chronic, or life threatening. It would be nice to add the support workers/nursing aid as part of the team of palliative workers as they are the ears, the eyes, and the hands of the whole interdisciplinary team! So please acknowledge them! thanks

I am in multi organ failure along with alot more serious conditions ex ex but i think the worst is my Lung diseases COPD Pulmonary Hypertension and a Paralyzed Diaphragm and they just put me on Palliative care and i am in soooo much Pain and i see a pain Doctor which is giving me 75 MME and said he will have to cut me back to 50 MME next month unless i get Hospice? I thought Palliative care i was exempt ?? Can someone please help and give me some info on this PLEASE
Im in soooo much Pain that truthfully i do not want to Live and i have no quality of Life whatsoever. Can someone please tell me does Palliative care in Michigan un tie his hands?
does Palliative care have there own pain team that can access my pain? Please someone i am so lost here.
