  • Remember that as the people approach end of life, this time is filled with sadness and grief about what is coming in the near future. Providing psychosocial support connects us to the humanism that brought physicians to medicine in the first place.
    There are 4 key areas to focus on with this support: non-abandonment, hope, bringing closure to important relationships, and spirituality.
