Glad to see the new updated videos. This one helped me fix my blind that wouldn't go up at all anymore. Would love to see a video on these blinds on and setting pre tension if you remove blind completely from the bracket. I used to have internal adjustment MCD blinds on an old DRV that you had to pretension before setting the adjustments. This external MCD blind I am not sure if that is necessary or even possible.
These shades don't match what I just received without any mounting clips. The set screws and aluminum mounting side are not at the end as shown here on the narrow end, but on the wide side?
@@EverydayIsSaturday2 it’s the internals of the blind. I haven’t taken the time to reach out to get the new internals. It’s going to be a very easy fix but other things higher on the priority list
Why do they make these things so that they constantly break at the weak plastic joints - and then fleece you because you then have to buy a whole new installation?
Thanks for the help, mine was stuck all I had to do was have someone hold the shade and I gave it a good tug.

How do get it to lock down where you want it ?
Tom, did you ever figure out out how to get the shade to lock down?
We have a blind that won’t set in the down position. How do we correct that?
Same. Did you ever figure it out?

How about when it doesn't work at all?
But what if I have no tension
Need a new spring. I just replaced. Not difficult
