The concept art really DOES point to the realistic animated styles that Robert Zemekis and Hideo Kojima are shooting for. Hopefully Zack could call those two up for pointers on that tech.
I just watched the directors cuts for Rebel Moon 1 and 2. Honestly they are just ok films. I was thinking it probably would have worked better as a 12 episode series or something. The continuation of his zombie universe I'm all on board for though. I really dug Army of the Dead.
Army of the Dead was bad. I get it, people love Zack. I like the man, but his movies are just bad. From Frankenstein lenses, to a constant change in speed, the man hasn’t matured as a filmmaker. Seriously just look with a SLIGHTLY critical eye and it should be obvious. The man is a “for hire” director, because when he’s in the writing seat, he has no idea what a good story looks like. He also needs to get Larry back.
At least your encouraging them to do something OTHER than be weird about Gunn and everyone's excitement over Superman, even if that encouragement is to do the same weird stuff at different people about different projects.
I like Zack as a Visionary and a Director, but he needs a good lead writer. This is when his projects suffer is when he does too much just like James Gunn is a better creative and writer than director.
Maybe for ten minutes? More like grow up and move on…We got a fucking Superman trilogy that rules and should enjoy things that are DC moving forward. As much as I love the ZSJL, it made people nuts with the RELEASE bullshit. We’re so lucky to have gotten that - what a fantastic story and final product.
Well, BvS is inferior to The Dark Knight trilogy and I supported it. It’s great on it’s on but not better. When Matt Reeves did The Batman, I was frustrated we weren’t getting Affleck’s movie, but I also supported it. Turns out, that might be the best pure Batman movie ever made. Also, how do we know a movie that hasn’t come out that’s launching the next phase of DC is already inferior?
@@DetBull few things wrong with your comment. Firstly, how is this new DCU inferior? The old DCEU is considered mid at best and outright horrible at worst. The only DCU product we've gotten has been great, and the next project, the big jumping off point, just released its first trailer that legitimately took the world by storm with how good it looked. Secondly, for someone saying they won't support an inferior product you immediately contradict yourself by saying you're gonna support Marvel. They've been releasing inferior products for almost five years now.
I haven't seen any Rebel Moon version but my hunch tells me it won't impress me 😅 I liked a lot army of the dead and i want it to be continued and have nothing with Rebel Moon universe.
