I highly recommend Deyeme's mounts for the Dart. They're so much sturdier and last way longer than the OEM ones if you can throw down the money for them
@@s33therfan Thank You so much for this. At least I know what I'm up against now. Fixing one for a friend who was recently Widowed. Dodge Engineering really baffles me at the best of times.
Thanks for the awesome video. Just changed mine myself and honestly I would not recommend the engine mount from autozone. When I finished it was nice and quite but after 2 weeks the loud engine bang came back. I did see it only had 3/4 stars but I needed to see for myself and wasted the 180 dollars. Gonna buy the Amazon one next.
really surprised that it was problematic , seeing it didn't look that bad compare to the trans. one, that was all destroyed ... at least it was an easier task, as always thanks for sharing .
It surprised me too , as it was no where near as visibly deteriorated. Seems like I had a similar issue with a mazda 6 . The passenger mount was causing more vibrations even though it looked fine. After fixing this passenger mount I was able to pin point the pesky tensioner pulley as causing scraping noise also. Thanks for the feedback as always.
I'm not sure why but after I had to replace the factory mounts. My driver side motor mount literally goes out every 4 months? Like I said I replaced all three mounts and only the passenger side I'm having a problem with. Should I not go to AutoZone? Should I go try to get a manufacturer? Great video by the way thank you
Thank you. I know it’s been nine months since this video but did the mounts hold up pretty good. I have to get mine repaired and didn’t know if these would hold up cause I know some mounts are more expensive. Thank you for your response.
Did you replace the rear engine mount? I replaced the passenger side engine mount several months back but the passenger side needs replaced so i ordered all 3 at once to replace at the same time. However i cant find any videos on the rear mount. It obviously looks simpler than the others. I also am replacing lower ball joint and control arms, tie rods and sway bars. My dart has 188k and has ran like a tank. I replaced struts last year before i figured out the noise was the engine mounts. 😂
Great video, a question for giggles. Can that motor mount cause the rpm to act up on these dodges? Sometimes it's smooth and sometimes not. But for sure I have a shot passenger side motor mount!
Amazing video, very thorough and the camera angles were perfect!
Thank you very much

Definitely , I have had good luck with am parts and Trq. Thanks for the feedback.
hey how did the amazon one work?
How many mounts are there? I’m looking at buying a mount set, and it comes with 3 mounts. I have the 2.0 with the manual trans
There are 3 total , thanks for the feedback.

How have they held up in current day?
I would also like to know if they held up ?
This really helped out alot. Is there a total of four mounts? That’s what my mechanic told me. Thank you.
There are 3 mounts total . Here is a kit. Thank you for the question.

Thank you for taking the time to make this video 🫡
You are so welcome!
Should I drain the coolant first before I take the box out?
You should just be able to move it out of the way . Thanks for the question.
@@s33therfan Is this whats causing the rumble to the right side of my car at the engine? Mine looked cracked like yours

Not that I am aware of but it sure does make a lot of noise otherwise. Thank you for the feedback.
Great job, thank you
