This music sounds so cartoonishly out of place it fits the dry humor of the game series perfectly. This thing plays during the silliest of times, it can also play while you're fighting Shyghosts next to a dried up Toad husk.
This channel is the best thing i could find, seriously someone taking the time to deconstruct the songs of a game i'm currently taking inspiration from for making another videogame, this is the best reference i could find for the OST, its like a gift from heaven.

Good one, but a deconstruction like this is only possible with "sequenced" music, like digital sheet music. I'm not sure dream team uses this or "audio streaming", which is like playing an mp3, which is not stored in a way the instruments can be separated.
@@arcdj That's right, but maybe someone can find a very faithful soundfont and reproduce the song, But someone needs a great ear to do that, maybe i could be able to do smthing like that but it would take some time.
Dream Team and Paper Jam use an orchestrated soundtrack rather than the digital sample sequencing of the the first 3 games. Deconstructing them would be rather the gargantuan task.
@FuelFire Not even in this series is it the best. The best is arguably this one (followed by either super star saga or bowser’s inside story). Try Try Again is pretty good but it ain’t beating the other three
If you don't mind with some requests, maybe check out the OST of Touhou Project, I think it could be very interesting! Like "Lunar Clock - Lunar Dial" or "Crimson in the black sea - Legendary Fish" Though I used to be a Mario fan, so I'm still glad you're doing such wonderful work!
That depends entirely on if the songs use sequenced music or if it's just an audio file. If it's just an audio file, it cannot really be separated into different instruments

The ‘Mario and Luigi’ series is easily one of the best in the Mario franchise (tied with Paper Mario). The music from the goddess of talent that is Yoko Shimomura is a big contributing factor as to what made these games so memorable and engaging. Shame she isn’t doing brothership (still a decent game tho)
