How lovely is Andi. I love that she made a point of saying how lovely LaLande is, and what a great environment. Which always comes across in the vlogs. ♥️♥️

I love the mention of Isabelle, I miss her and Percy at La Lande. On how mummy's voice has entered my psyche...one of my dogs messed the floor the other day and I am shouting: "Who dee-d eet ? !" (as Isabelle would say it.)
Delightful, as always! Have you heard of the World Central Kitchen? It's a wonderful charity that is run by a famous chef and does the most loving and tender work of feeding people in times of crisis. They are at the border of Ukraine right now, putting yummy sandwiches into the hands of traumatized and hungry refugees. Bless their hearts! Love all the dear folk at Lalande- thank you for being you and sharing your magic with the rest of the world. Big hugs all round!
Oh I would love to see the holy water vessel go in the Chapel somewhere. Andie’s candle holders are superb and match the alter perfectly (but will be more perfect when the other colours are added to them!) 🥰
That fabric was beautiful! I love those colors. The candlesticks were the perfect base color for the chapel, adding some red, blue and lots of gold will make it seem like they were made for the chapel. Can't wait to see what Philip does with the fabric. Wish I could come over to Lalande and work on sewing or woodworking projects with all of you!

'Holy Water in the chapel' is what I felt would be perfect! Especially for special occasions like Weddings, Baptism or a Mass. Various services could have Holy Water placed into it and then each person entering could use the water * with extra bottle nearby or under it, to refill as needed perhaps?* This is just my thought on this. My vote, if you will. If I even can have a vote? lol Would find this book so very interesting on Venice too, it sounds wonderful! Lovely gifts all around. Andi, is such an exceptional artist! She is a lovely person!
I'm not Catholic, so forgive my lack of knowledge on this subject, but the chapel has been deconsecrated so isn't it meaningless to do these things in a place that is no longer considered religious or "holy" by the Catholic church? Like how can it be holy water if the building is secular? If you put holy water in say, a library, would it still be holy water and do whatever it is that it's supposed to do? I'm not trying to be rude and I hope I don't offend, but this is something I'm curious about and trying to understand so if anyone can enlighten me, thank you in advance.

This vlog, Venice Comes To The Chateau, proves beyond a doubt that Stephanie is a very gifted chatelaine thanks to so many generous and thoughtful gift givers, and deservedly so. As to the candelabras, I'd say they'd be even more impressive with a soft red base color to "anchor" them, some dark blue hints to harmonize them with existing elements and gold trim highlights to create an absolute sense of balance and belonging, as if they had always been a part of the chapel's visual majesty and spiritual sensibility. Who can doubt that Philip will work his magic.
LOVE the candlesticks; it was good to see the nativity put away seeing it's lent at the moment.. LoL April 17th will be time to decorate for Easter. Would you ever think of trying to find another restorer for the chapel; do to the man you found hasn't come? LOVE you guy's! ❤
It is impossible to love Venice more than I do, one of the most unutterably beautiful places ever, but I must admit, when I went there (only once, but never to be forgotten) it struck me that the last thing I would ever call it is 'serene'! For me, it is a cauldron of never-ending activity and splendour, the last place I would ever go to for 'serenity'! I find myself wondering if it was more serene in the fifteenth century? Very likely so, since there were no motor taxis or vaparettos back then. Even so, I am fairly confident that it was not exactly serene at any point in its history, even if less noisy! Whatever the truth of that, it is a living miracle. Charity Suggestion Box: THE FRED HOLLOWS FOUNDATION which restores vision for people in the Third World. Going blind en masse, unnecessarily because the cannot afford treatment. Thank you for the video. Have a wonderful weekend!
My vote is the Chapel for the holy water font. I love Natti and Emory (hope I spelled your names correctly) I am happy you found each other; I see you faces light up when you are together or just when you mention each other by name.
I am with you Stephanie I think the FONT needs to be in the Chapel, just inside the door. When I find my Rock cut Crystal of Pope John Paul, I have had him for a long time. But my heart says he belongs at LaLande. Sending love 💕 peace ✌️ blessings 💯🙏🏻. 💖🇦🇺. Andi is so sweet , the colour is same as in the walls..💖💖💖
Its for the door entrance of the Chapel. Traditiona,ly you dip your fingers in Holy Water & make the Sign of the Cross over yourself. Forget planter idea (!?!) . We grew up with them in our homes in India where they were near the Altar in the homes, which was near the DOORWAY (Entry Exit).
How lovely is Andi. I love that she made a point of saying how lovely LaLande is, and what a great environment. Which always comes across in the vlogs. ♥️♥️

Good to see you Andi and sorry we are missing one another, your book of paintings was wonderful, I envy your talent xx
Hello 👋 Josephine
Loved how you showed the green candle sticks in the chapel. Philip's hair looks great in a ponytail btw.. Brigitte 🌷
Lovely to see you Andie, what a sweet gift I love it being a blue and white fan
That's was good every one joing in so joy
This vlog, Venice Comes To The Chateau, proves beyond a doubt that Stephanie is a very gifted chatelaine thanks to so many generous and thoughtful gift givers, and deservedly so. As to the candelabras, I'd say they'd be even more impressive with a soft red base color to "anchor" them, some dark blue hints to harmonize them with existing elements and gold trim highlights to create an absolute sense of balance and belonging, as if they had always been a part of the chapel's visual majesty and spiritual sensibility. Who can doubt that Philip will work his magic.
Your gratitude gives me such joy! 💖
LOVE the candlesticks; it was good to see the nativity put away seeing it's lent at the moment.. LoL
April 17th will be time to decorate for Easter.
Would you ever think of trying to find another restorer for the chapel; do to the man you found hasn't come?
LOVE you guy's! ❤
This was such an enjoyable happy time we spent with you all. Thank you
Hello 👋 Gloria
The peonies are absolutely gorgeous! Can you tell the name of them? I'd like some for my garden...Thank you.

Thank you for the video. Have a wonderful weekend!
Andi, you have such a beautiful, loving spirit!
Hello 👋 Pat
The holy water font should be in the chapel with blessed water...its so beautiful !!!!
Absolutely agree!
My vote is the Chapel for the holy water font. I love Natti and Emory (hope I spelled your names correctly) I am happy you found each other; I see you faces light up when you are together or just when you mention each other by name.
AD Shelley: *thumbs up*; we could all learn a bit about gift-giving from her, I'm sure!
So glad you’re helping - with the charity monies to help keep Venice alive
There are 2 succulents that would go well. String of pearls and donkey tails
The chapel is looking great. Cannot wait to see more improvements.
Beautiful and thoughtful gifts, as usual. I couldn’t be on the chat today, but hello Andie 😊😘
Knock knock
So lovely! The chapel is really evolving. I actually can see that fabric as a vest or jacket for Philip? Too dandy-ish?? ❤🌸
Great vlog enjoyed that thank you all
Wow, such a variety, and a whirlwind of locations and beautiful gifts! So many generous people all over the world. It's such an encouragement to see.
Hello 👋
And I is such a lovely person, the candlabra is beautiful
Your video made me start planning a trip to Venice 👍😊
Tillandsia are tiny bromeliads that would be perfect for that holy water holder.
you are all so great
I am with you Stephanie I think the FONT needs to be in the Chapel, just inside the door.
Hello 👋 Lady
Andie you bring so much to the chateau
Lovely to see Andi
Andi's work is wonderful!!!
Love the candle sticks.
Hello 👋 Martha
