I have an iPhone 5 and do not like the style of the button and was wondering if I could buy one of these replacement 5s buttons with a flex cable to replace it, if I take it into Apple will they be willing to do it for me?
***** il touch id non funziona con il nuovo tasto home perché sono unici per ogni iphone e codificati sul chip interno sulla scheda madre ogni volta che si cambia il tasto home dell'iphone 5s la funzione del touch id cessa
***** Touch ID is unique to the device. If any of the original cables or sensors are changed or removed Touch ID no longer works from my knowledge. It's probably for security reasons.
+Rob Fassi yeah well sometimes you don't have a choice. Rather have a working home button with no touch Id than no home button at all. The only thing that doesn't work is touch Id I fail to see how the phone is ruined....
I don't even use my touch id much so without it wont matter much to me. thx for the video is very helpful.

it would be much more helpful if i could actually see how the rubber ring goes on...
pity, can't use to tight the final step, the small plastic from the old cable broke on that place.
Lol the home button was not responding at the end nor was the touch screen
wow you ruined the whole phone by changing the home button because touch id won't work

+How2Tech yea but if that was a customers phone your screwed or it'd way less in resale value
What would you do if your home button was broken with no warranty?
+How2Tech you changed the button to make it the same color as the screen.....
