I wasn’t sure how it would all come out as an inlay until I saw the typical Korean design I’ve become so familiar with! Very precise craftsmanship that looks excellent! Next you will be doing mother of pearl (from 제주도) inlays? Haha
Beautiful! ..but that's more of a lamination than an inlay isn't it? It's like saying you're doing book matched book match veneer of some flame mahogany but then building with actual flame mahogany solid hardwood Lumber. In the end, they would both be beautiful pieces but it's the showcasing of the skills that would be entirely different... Just sayin' .. It really doesn't matter though, hearing your planes in action was worth the click..
We are all now waiting to see what you are going to use the inlay for
I love the pattern. Could be interesting for a decorative segmented bowl or vase. Might have just inspired me ... again :)
Even the shavings are beautiful! Well done!!
Great work my friend. Fantastic eye for detail. Looking forward to your next video.

Clear plan and precise execution!
Beautifull job, but i'm still worry about the waste of wood, any furniture Made with such decoratin must be very expensive!!!!!

this is great, thanks for showing us. Are you using a high tooth count tcg blade with negative hook angle, or a flat top grind, or something else ?

Is something about it specifically east asian or did you mean ornamental? I'm not trying to be pedantic, I'm genuinely interested.
I don't know, I happened to be found in traditional Korean furniture,
