She reminds me of people I know. The kind of people who project what they think you mean over what you ask, and answer that instead. It's a manipulative method of gaslighting and it's OBVIOUS that she's very accustomed to getting her way with it... until now.
I agree - the tactic of turning things around on the other person and acting outraged that anyone would suggest anything nefarious about her are classic manipulation techniques. I give her NO CREDIBILITY. She kept saying they were group texting between them to try and determine what actually happened to their dear friend... but they didn't include Karen on that group thread or even talk to her! The one person who might know important details....who John was closest to...and they never even attempted to include her in their quest for the "truth". They preferred to come up with their own narrative.

If I was a juror, I would have enough reasonable doubt at this point to acquit. The whole “I was looking at the SUV so I couldn’t possibly see a body on the snow covered ground” was the biggest bunch of BS.

I'm convinced that as long as Karen doesn't testify, she will be found not guilty. There's no need whatsoever for her to testify. I believe it could only hurt her at this point. Plus, this case is already bonkers as it is.
I think after today, there should be a motion to dismiss. The prosecution's witnesses have only punched holes in their own theory.
I wish i could see the faces/ expressions of the jurors.
I would also love to see the faces of John's family who have pretty much sided against Karen from what I've heard...😮

Boston area law enforcement has a history of corruption and has only gotten worse in time. The simple fact that they drive drunk and admit it on the stand and shrug their shoulders when it’s highlighted is a sign of how they think they’re above the law.
Honestly her testimony either proves that Proctor lied on every single report and/or that she has lied every single time - personally I think both are liars. Deleting over 20 phone calls? She also sounds so insanely rehearsed with that nasty accent “I don’t have a record in front of me so I don’t know what happened and blah blah blah twenty calls blah blah” “Neither did any neighbor come out.” - are they police officers who are first responders whose “friend” was lying dead on their front lawn? She is absolutely horrible for this case

Defensive and evasive… doesn’t look so good. She’s repeatedly testifying that she was in a state of shock she doesn’t remember… however she remembered everything that Lally asked her along with everything Karen said. Then again Karen saying “I hit him, I hit him, I hit him” wasn’t important enough to bring up at the grand jury.
Notice her physical stance when answering, she leans forward like she is getting in your face, with her F O scowl, and gives a smart alec remark, not answering a direct question.

Same. I'm 100% free Karen now. I walked in completely blind. In fact, I remarked in one comment, Karen didn't seem upset when listening to the 911 call, and mind you I didn't even hear the call so I was just making an off-the-cuff remark with no information, knowing nothing. Now I have listened and realized she was absolutely hysterical when finding her love. And all the evidence, AGAINST the McAlberts is astounding. I know now that judging so quickly was incredibly foolish and assuming that the prosecution is doing the right thing is just plain dumb. This woman is being railroaded and I pray the FBI comes down on the Alberts and McCabe's hard!!!
John's body tells the story. FBI has confirmed NO injuries from a car let alone a 6000lb SUV. Blunt force injury to the head, two black eyes a cut above the nose. He was attacked by the men and the dog also attacked his arm while they killed him. I don't think that they intended to kill him, I think they took it too far and at that point they had to cover it up. I have seen loads of dog attacks in my lifetime doing rescue of power breeds and shepherds for decades. Dogs leave punctures sometimes but when they attack and are trying to regrip over and over they will shred your arm and leave what look like cuts or stab wounds. Attorney Melanie little had American standard canine on twice Garrett Wing a former police dog trainer and current protection dog trainer. He shows with visual representations both in video from a woman that was attacked and also with his prosthetic arm used in training just how those marks match.
To be fair I do think that she looks like the busybody organizer of things partially because we have her phone records. I do think she was very involved, obviously, but I also think the far more incriminating information was on the phones that got upgraded just in time.

Here's a point that has bugged me that I haven't heard anybody mention: when Jen about Karen coming to her house and I'm going to look for John Karen stated no we have to go to Fairview. The way all of the Alberts have testified about that house, they all call it Fairview as though that is the affectionate term for the family home this is Karen's first time going and of course she didn't even remember going did she according to Jen so wouldn't she have called it Brian's or Nicole's using a person's name rather than a house name? It sounds like the Alberts and the McCabe's refer to it as Fairview because for many many years that distinguishes that particular house as the family home. A stranger to the house wouldn't normally do that

In Massachusetts they object and all possible objections are preserved for the record so they don't give a specific reason.
3:23:20 Nobody ever said anything about evil in this trial so far. We are just looking for the facts and those facts so far are pointing to some really bad shenanigans going on here with those phones.
But, online I've seen in a lot of these threads people saying they were evil. Which leads me to believe that they are reading everything online, even though they're in the middle of testimony.

You only do that to a witness you call. It isn't about her demeanor.
When you're cross-examining a witness it's as if they are already hostile. You can only call a witness that you call to the stand a hostile witness.
If she was simply telling the truth why would she need to constantly refresh her memory. The truth doesn’t change
To be fair it’s been 2 years and a lot of this stuff isn’t things anyone would particularly note, can you remember calls you made 2 years ago and what times or orders you made them in? Can you do that with ANY calls longer than a year ago? That being said I think she’s fishy and that this whole case is fucked but still the whole not remembering thing 2 years later with small stuff like phone calls isn’t that crazy

Judge suddenly giving the defense leeway, whereas in all the other days of trial she sustains almost every objection Lally makes. She must know now that there is more intense scrutiny by FBI. Jen's needing to quantify all her answers and accusing Jackson of "portraying things wrongly" just shows she feels she needs to control the narrative. Instead of just answering truthfully. Also why she keeps going on about how shocked people were.
She was a right fit to be part of the Boston's finest cast...corrupt!

I'm thinking that this whole group of McCabe/Albert's were jealous of both John and Karen from the beginning. Colin's bad behavior in general made things worse, and there was no reigning Colin in from years ago, and then this particular night, Colin got out of control and the clans decided to cover everything up and here we are. Jen's testimony is horrifically damaging as was her husband's, Matt and add all of the others and there you have inconsistencies and plenty of cover-up examples...IMO....I hope the real murderer is arrested..
