That was in early 80's California at the Sunset Strip and after his freebase accident where he caught on fire. He is a legend for a reason and the foundation for all these modern comics like Burr, Sabastian, Patrice, Murphy etc. He was really just naturally funny dude
It's great to see some Richard Pryor. We didn't get much of his stand-up on TV, but there was something in the 80s. Maybe a video tape or album? A British stand-up declared him "State of the Art". Pryor seemed effortless. Belated Happy Birthday Brad, 🎁🎂🎉🍻🥂 Lucy, you look better than Drew Barrymore. Best Wishes. ☮ G-Man-😎 If you listen to the radio (instead of watching TV) you might enjoy the panel show _The Unbelievable Truth_ it's another bluffing game. In _The Unbelievable Truth,_ panelists give a short lecture which is wholly untrue except for 5 truths which they try to 'smuggle' past the other panelists. The 'lecturer' gets a point for every truth 'smuggled'. The other panelists win a point if the spot a truth, but lose a point if they mistake a lie for a truth. It's quite light comedy. It's on BBC Radio 4 at 6:30pm, so not much swearing or adult themes. The lies are often funny, with quick witted banter This one has Frankie Boyle, the subjects are _Ducks, Cromwell, Words, Astronauts, Delia Smith, Robots, Rain, Facebook._ Frankie is 'lecturing' about Facebook starting at: ua-cam.com/video/lYc2XVJRpI0/v-deo.html
I would love to see you react to "Harlem nights" With Richard Pryor and Eddie Murphy set in 1920's Harlem. I am of the same vintage as yourselves and have a disturbing amount of similar bad tastes like your good selves, which I find hilarious, fart jokes included. I promise you will love it. As we Irish, and especially Mrs Doyle say, "Ah Go on!". G'won G'won G'WON!
@@frozengamer3030 Had to live in the closet as well because of his era. Pryor was as gay as the day is long. He was clearly depressed for a variety of reasons.
@@frozengamer3030 Both his wife and son talk about it. If I didn't know any better I would think him and Gene Wilder had a relationship as well. If you watch the eyes they make at each other in certain interviews and such, they are eyes lovers make at each other with affection more than two male friends would make. Of course the second part is my speculation, but him being gay has been out there from many sources.
Lmaooo... Love em! They remind me of me and my girl back in uni days. We would get baked and watch stand up or movies... People could immediately tell we were all the way cooked
Loved Richard Pryor especially with Gene Wilder in that film See No Evil, Hear No Evil ... Great vid! 🤟

Ever wonder about Eddie Murphy's inspiration for his red leather suit in Delirious? Wonder no more. A simple tribute to one of the Masters of comedy.
Great actor and comedian. It’s sad how he lived his life
Nah it’s sad how his condition was at the end. Nothing wrong with a little drug use tho😂
