You have exquisite taste!!! Just started watching your videos recently and just subscribed today. And I watched your daughter Mellissa interview you on a video earlier this week. Love your enthusiasm and your goal of helping seniors get in the reselling business. I keep buying stuff but can’t quite get up the nerve to jump in yet. I am learning a lot from you and your daughter Melissa. She too is a gem. Such a sweet, gentle soul. Love to listen to her shipping videos!
You were sooo not scattered, you rolled right along, gave great tips and were fun to listen too with your sidebar comments :) Always learn something fabulous from you!! You made a great point about picking an item up for the education of it all. Such a great point and it relieved me to hear this perspective, as I have felt badly about some purchases I’ve made. I have been excited about an item only to find that it will not bring profit, however, you are so right... it’s an education on the massive learning curve of reselling. My dearest friend and I are now collaborating together on this venture and you are one of our biggest inspirations. Learning valuable nuggets from you and trying to “go out and get what’s ours”, so thank you thank you!🤗
I love your videos because you really don't know about everything just like me! So watching you and knowing you really are making money, gives me hope!!!! Thank you for this. You are funny and a real inspiration to me and like I've mentioned before, your voice is really soothing!
On the stationary bike watching a furniture make over while I bring the blood sugar down... and bam! You’re in my side bar at the commercial break.... I almost wrecked my bike trying to click over! 🤣
Boston has been on my list to visit for a few years now! My hubs is a pilot and has been a couple times for work and really enjoyed it! We are building a home in Texas but when we are done we may head up north to visit your town! 😊 love your videos! I am a couple years older than you and enjoy watching someone closer to my age. I have a hard time watching presenters who have “vocal fry”! And YOU articulate very well. Don’t worry about the hair comments, you do a fantastic job😊❤️
You are just amazing I love how you are so real with us. I’m very excited to here that you are going to try to put out more videos. I really enjoy all of yours. I learn so much. Thank you for bringing your world to ours.
Your selection is extremely eclectic! Great hints for resellers, to diversify your store, that way you get a variety of customers that might see something else they like and possibly spend more. On your pitcher you might put applied frosted finish, it appears to have texture along with the frosted finish. Your tool description cracks me up. I would sell your tools on Facebook Marketplace, saves the shipping and men pay up for tools. Same thing for the guitars - so much less hassle with no shipping.
Baby clothing as well as big kids clothing do well in lots/bundles😀.. I do sell baby clothing, but I sell them in bundles, unless it is a brand that will bring me a high amount.. baby dresses as well as big girl dresses do very well alone or in bundles, jackets and coats do well, as well as shoes.. there are certain brands that will bring in more money than others, but in order to make a profit on children’s clothing, you should only spend around $1-$3, unless the item brings high profit.. baby girl vintage dresses do very well, but you have to know which ones😀.. thank you so much for sharing with us Karen🤗❤️
Love the wide variety of items in this video! Only thing I could think of when you were doing guitars was 'You Rock'! And of course, bet she'll be calling Bare!
I understand about speaking and can’t find your words, I am a retired teacher and one day I will tell you what I said in front of a room full of adult students. Priceless.. I love the dress you have on cute cute! Great haul! Still learning from you. Keep on getting what is your! I am!
Another wonderful haul. You find the most amazing items! You have such great intuition on what to pick up. Love that you share your tips. Sometimes collectible items with defects can bring more because they are unique so will be interesting to see what the lunchbox brings. I have seen Lily Bloom at T J Maxx.
Lily Bloom bags are made from recycled materials and highly collectible! Good find! I am a collector myself :D The wallets can be harder to find so definitely snag those if you find them. They are not very high end or pricey, but if you get them inexpensively they will sell well!
I love your videos!! Those dooney and Burke bags are so cute!! So many people say to stick with one thing but I don’t agree abs I love how you find all the great things !!
With guitars it's all about making sure the neck is straight. Best budget brand that always sells yamaha acoustic. always by martin and gibson. Electric Always by gibson les paul, epiphone les paul are the cheap ones also buy fender stratocasters old ones or made in mexico know as mim.
I love your videos and am thrilled you will attempt to make more often. As someone who is about to jump in to reselling, your videos give me the confidence to try to make a go of it.
Great job mama! I feel like it takes me forever to put up a listing, did you feel that way in the beginning 33 listings so far 😀. As you know I sold my first item, got a great review from buyer, YAYYY !
When I started eBay 7 years ago I took a full weeks vacation to get up and running. It seemed like it took me all day to list just a couple things!!! Now of course my listings are so much more streamlined as I list and take pictures by like kinds etc. it takes time to learn and get into a rhythm. Good luck, you’ll get there! 😉
Janette Lavender you just made my day! I'm in nursing now ( breaking my back) but prior to that I lived in the SF BAY AREA and I was an assistant to a CEO in Corporate. I've never experienced such drama trying to just list an item lol! THANK YOU darling. I appreciate this more than you know. At 57, single parent to a girl with illness, nursing is killing me. Thank you 🙋🏻🤗🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Susan congrats on your first sale. I am a newbie and I am having difficulty setting up eBay. Was wondering if we could chat maybe you can give me some tips. My name is Lyn Kest.917-239-7254. Hope to hear from you!
The "baby" blankets you have are beautiful...as key words you could also use wheel chair lap blankets...they are the perfect size for that...When I worked as a CNA there were people that made that size for our residents....most of the residents like something coming their laps.
Hi Karen, I just found your channel a couple of days ago and I love it! I have been thinking about listing on ebay but never have been encouraged, now I am! I am a crafter and a thrifter. Most of my crafts are made from reused items. I have been doing as you suggested about getting started in looking around the house at things you already own to list. Some of the items I cannot find. I wonder if you could help me out with a suggestion? I have a complete set of Bradford Exchange Thomas Kincaid vintage Victorian house illuminated Christmas ornaments. You have to purchase the entire set in order to get the boxes that they go in. I have googled them and came up with nothing. I searched Bradford Exchange store and ebay. The only thing on ebay I could find was just a set of 3 for $30. But I think mine would be much more valuable since it is the complete set and come with the 2 large boxes that hold them. BTW, a friend of mine just sold a few of his Bass (electric) guitars for $150. each. Thank you for sharing all your wonderful tips and tricks with us! God bless,
I managed to stop off at estate sale on my way to work Friday I got a St. John's evening by Marie Grey skirt suit it is stunning all gold beaded can't figure out how to price it , and the woman cut the size out, has shoulder pads which tells me it's somewhat vintage. IT IS STUNNING! Paid 15.00, any suggestions darling?
Thank you for this video. I also sell handmade quits, like wall hangings and table runners. Here's my tip: Goodwill employees hang the quilted wall hangings with the baby quilts, and often put the table runners with women's shawls...and I fnd small Brighton media bags with children's purses--so explore the whole store! ...from Grandma Bunny--not the dumbest blond in Arizona!
Goodwill Bunny great tips I am in az too and our good wills are very pricey but I still try to funds great things but I am staring to learn to look for other things and be more choosy and I love savers 1/2 off days
I love each and every one of your videos! You are so beautiful, informative and very professional! Looking forward to an increase in your videos! I too love Glass and dread packing and shipping it!!
I have sold a few guitars and shipping is easy go to a guitar center or music place they are always tossing out the shipping boxes for them. Also if you can 't find the exact guitar as someone as my hubby is a musician and well I messed up listing a bass guitar and a customer was going to report me for my mistake. I always ask him now to be exact thanks for another video I'm new to your channel so catching up on older videos
That Jesus statue is beautiful❤️.. you should be able to get quite a bit for it🤗.. I did check for you and there aren’t any in active listings, but I did see two that were sold recently.. ͏On͏e was sold for $50 and another for over $50

Your channel is the BEST!!!!! You are our shot of "zen"........My entire family is binge-watching every video of yours!

Seeing you pick up linens had me looking for them more. I found a set of 8 crate and barrel cloth napkins. Paid $2 and sold for $32!
Hi Karen, another great video. You have such a good eye for finding the nicest items. Love the quilt and baby blanket.

Your face when showing the tools is priceless !!
Schmootsy...word of the day! Great haul. I miss living in Lancaster, so many beautiful quilts and handmade furniture!
Congrats with your Toxic Avengers lunchbox!!! That’s a great find!
I typically do not care for haul videos, with one exception...YOUR Hauls 💜

Those tennis shoes are expensive ones. Great for walkers/runners. Great job that you found some. I bet you can get more than 30's for them.
With guitars it's all about making sure the neck is straight. Best budget brand that always sells yamaha acoustic. always by martin and gibson. Electric Always by gibson les paul, epiphone les paul are the cheap ones also buy fender stratocasters old ones or made in mexico know as mim.
Oh and your dress is fabulous! So light and very pretty!
Oh my Karen. I so laughed over your description of the tools! I don't know a darn thing about tools either! Well done.
The Jesus figurine with the lambs is beautiful.
Thanks for another great video! Hope you enjoyed your walk with your lovely daughter!
LUNCHBOX: Don’t remove the sticker... it could bring more, list it with the word ERROR... collectors go for that! In my opinion.
I was thinking the same thing, Patricia. Glad you said it. Mistakes on vintage do at times make the item rarer, which equal more dollars.
You are right. The off set sticker will make it more valuable
I thought the same thing!!! That will catch a Collectors eye!
I love your videos and am thrilled you will attempt to make more often. As someone who is about to jump in to reselling, your videos give me the confidence to try to make a go of it.
Those Dooney and Bourke purses were popular when I was in school around the late 80s early 90s

That pitcher is soo neat too!!!
FYI I was confused at first. Molds are what the liquid is poured into. The item is not called a mold. Imo. Hope this helps. Love your style.
32:31 A T something or another and a big wiggly thing 😂😂 sounds like me when I’m listing my tools 😂😂
Hi Karen I absolutely just love your channel. i'm new at reselling and have learned a lot from you!!Thank You so much:) Much Love From California :)

I love the vintage hard goods and guitars! I just picked up a classical acoustic guitar yesterday. Great video Karen!

Love your lil dress! Adorbs! Always a pleasure and learning experience with your vids 💘
I agree with the comment below about not moving the sticker on the lunch box. That will make it more collectible. Price it higher.
Great information I love that you go with things I have started just taking chances and it’s paid off👍😊
I love each and every one of your videos! You are so beautiful, informative and very professional! Looking forward to an increase in your videos! I too love Glass and dread packing and shipping it!!

Crib quilts traditionally were square.
Great video!❤
The pitcher might be “sugared” glass.
Do you ever or maybe how often do you go bAck in and lower your prices - I find that I think I do it too much but I only have 86 items listed
The quilt looks like a lap blanket for wheelchair patients. My church made some for the nursing home last Christmas.
Thanks so much! I never knew and now I will know this for the future!
I paid $130 for my HOKA sneakers😳. But they are worth it!
Lilly bloom sold at Ross
The pitcher frosted or satin glass.

Hoku are expensive shoes!
You know my mom wears children's clothing
If you use a hair dryer it will loosen the glue enough to peel off the lunch box sticker easily and lay back down!
Thanks! Yes I use the trick for price stickers but wouldnt use heat on a vintage item
