The introduction of Aokiji in One Piece, was my realization that there are bigger and powerful members in the Marines. When Aokiji showed his df power was such a badass moment, that made me scared for the Straw Hats safety. That's the moment I knew the Marines is not something to f*ck around with 💀
And if they would have met one of the other Admirals there and then the journey would just be unarguably over.

Water Seven and Enies Lobby are more than just anime..
They are pieces of art.
regarding the use of honorifics like ‘san’ and ‘chan’: in Japanese culture, ‘san’ is a respectful suffix used to address someone older or in a position of authority (similar to ‘Mr.’ or ‘Mrs.’), while ‘chan’ is often used for younger individuals, especially women.
However, there’s an interesting twist with Sanji, because he uses 'san' for Nami (younger) and 'chan' for Robin (older), which is not the usual way. When asked why Sanji uses these honorifics in an unconventional way, Oda kinda explained that Sanji is aware of the wish to treat a older woman as if she was younger (Robin-chan), and a younger woman as if she was more of an adult (Nami-san).

"freestyle" is actually the name of the type of race. You can theoretically do any kind of stroke in this race but everyone does the front crawl since it's the fastest

The truth is there are people who dont want to be called chan. Its not a formal word to call a japanese person. Its an informal way of saying Mr. Or Ms.
It is usually used for children and women also for little boys, but still it depends on the closeness of the one calling it and the person they are talking/referring to.

I fell in love with Robin this arc, as did many many others 😄
About -chan and -san it's actually the opposite, -san is the more "respectful" one (either for age or rank) while -chan is a more familiar and affectionate way to address someone you are close to. Though even in married couples i've seen the wife and husband often call each other with -san in tv shows, so it doesn't really mean you aren't close to someone if you use -san. Someone did ask Oda why Sanji said "Nami-san" and "Robin-chan" instead of the opposite and he just said he didn't think that deeply about it lol
Actually, in the manga, this part of the story was the end of the Long Ring Long land arc, not the start of the Water Seven arc.
Aokiji showed up at the Long Ring Long land, and froze the sea to allow the old man Tonjit and Sherry to reach the next 'island'.
So instead of Water Seven starting with a bang, Long Ring Long land ended with a bang

Este es mi arco favorito... Durante este arco Oda demuestra el amor y la obsesión que tiene por su obra en cada viñeta.
Ya sabéis que en One Piece todo está ahí por una razón, cada frase, cada panel, cada interacción entre personajes, todo tiene un propósito argumental, y este arco es el ejemplo percfecto. Es absurdo la forma en la que hila todas las tramas.
Hay muchos detalles pueden pasar desapercibidos la primera vez que ves One Piece, por ejemplo durante la pelea de Luffy contra Aokiji, nuestro protagonista intenta vencer usando el mismo ataque que derrotó a Cocodrile.. La rana que acabamos de conocer es otro claro ejemplo de que a Oda le encanta su trabajo.
En fin, acabáis de subir a una montaña rusa de emociones , espero que lo disfrutéis, gracias por las reacciones

Water 7 + Enies lobby started. This is hands down one of the best every story arcs u ever seen. U will never forget this arc. Also will be amazed how perfectly this arc is wrapped up. Just hold onto ur seats. U will not be able to stop since things will keep happening one after another
Aokiji had such a cool introduction, to think he could have killed them all so easily if he wanted. Also finally, the start of the best One Piece arc! It's interesting to see Usopp having an argument about following captain orders with Sanji and Zoro here knowing what will happen soon.

An admiral is not someone you just come up with a plan about how to defeat him. Don't mess with one of the strongest forces at the moment

(Also as noted previously the Aokiji appearance was happened after the Davy Back Fight, he was staring in front of Tojit's house and he was helped to cross the sea but since the long and long fillers you know, they changed a bit in the anime series XD)

4:00 no, It's not because robin is more mature. Usually chan is used to people younger than you or those who are close to you, while san is used to people older than you or those who you respect. But sanji uses other way around age-wise on purpose. He feels that robin is distanced from the rest of them, so he tries to be closer with her by calling her chan. And he calls nami nami-san because nami likes to be respected and worshipped and sanji simps for her, so he naturally does what she wants. However, it's all just my analysis, idk if oda explained this
No no it definitely make sense for Sonji to mix them up. Older woman love to be addressed as young and you address strong young female as older woman in reverence out of respect. Sanji is truly a womanizer
