I personally was gifted this for Christmas (in a box that came with the controller) because I want to fly RC airplanes myself. This game has a whole ton of lessons on how to fly RC airplanes, because it is not easy to just pick one up in real life. I personally would say it's worth it. I've had plenty of fun learning stuff, and fooling around. There are some silly planes I like, like the "Stits Sky Baby", which is a tiny but incredibly goofy and maneuverable biplane. If you play this again, I'd say the Sky Baby is a must try plane. It was a real thing too. There is also an F-14 Tomcat, with sweeping wings that I find fun as well. There are also many other unique planes I've tried and fooled around with. It's a very interesting game, and I've have a lot of fun with it so far. Hopefully with enough practice I can eventually fly an actual RC plane. Actually decent RC planes cost $100+, so this is a really good learning tool, and by using it you hopefully won't destroy the $100 plane immediately. You can practice for drones, helicopters, and planes, making it a 3 in 1 deal for learning, on top of the many planes, and areas you can play with. Completely worth it to me and very fun.
I learned to fly rc airplanes with that sim but in an older version (real flight g3) And the only accident I had was due to signal problems.I still have my first rc plane (hobbico nexstar) Good luck bro 👍
I played this same sim at my local hobby shop as a kid. I still have the disc and the remote controller for the flight sim. First flight sim experience I ever had.
Our flying club used to use this simulator for RC pylon training. I never went anywhere with it, and am a huge failure, but thank god I had fun using it… especially knowing my school probably blew hundreds of dollars to provide each of us with this sim.
Not really, I see where the target market this is, its not for your average flight sim user, its made for RC plane specialists who want to practice without having to deal with the costs of crashing an actual RC plane, and looking at it, its pretty realistic RC plane physics, This is more of an educational tool
Hey swiss, thank you for bringing me into the wonderful aviation community, you are such a nice guy and never fail to make me laugh, thank you for making wonderful videos bro
Maybe look from another angle: RC planes can get quite expencive, one crash can easly cost much more then 100 bucks. As you just told it's not easy to get certain things right, it's good to have a way to pratice without crashing, which is dangerous as well, you don't want to get hit by such things. What's most difficult is that you are standing outside the plane and have to wrap your mind around that when you are flying towards yourself. The physics in Realflight are really good, scaled down to what it's like at that size, you can get a good hang on flying RC models and probably won't crash on your first real flight 🙂 Try flying an RC helicopters, it's get's even more difficult than planes 😀
there was a hobby store nearby that used this software to showcase a controller for an RC plane. I used to play it all the time while my dad was getting his RC car fixed (ran on nitromethane fuel)
Bro you should make a video about the honeycomb yoke/throttle I have been thinking about buying it for the past few months but I don't really know what it's like to use it
An Alaska airlines 737max-9 had a door burst open while it was climbing to cruise not to long ago *like a day or so* which Alaska and united grounded their 737-9’a For inspection and now everyone is hating on the max
I’m sorry to break it to you but I got a free game like this on the App Store on my moms phone 5 years ago. Free airliners and every thing + crash animatoin

no it makes sense because 100 dollars to practice and fail 100 times is a lot cheaper than failing 100 times with an actual rc aircraft

Swiss are you going to make a video on the new a380?
The fact that you were willing to spend €100 just for a video shows how you much you enjoy to entertain your fans.

Day 1 of Asking Swiss 001 to check out the Bugalaga Airstrip in the Flight Sim
I could do it if he doesn’t do it…
The simulators free when you buy the control
Thats very expensive, I pay like 12-15$ for xplane 12 on steam when discount
If it’s $100 or whatever currency I better get all the planes in the game in real life!
An Alaska airlines 737max-9 had a door burst open while it was climbing to cruise not to long ago *like a day or so* which Alaska and united grounded their 737-9’a
