Use the ash from the fire with a damp cloth or paper towel to clean the wood stove glass door, that's what we use on ours in Crete Greece.
Great little stove, really good considering the temps you guys are having, shame you have no snow. As for chimney sweeping ( we have a coal fire and love it) brush sent up chimney, 30 kg soot drops down at light speed BUMPH, broke protective cover free from fireplace and filled the house grrrr, 6 months to clean and decorate lol vowed never to diy sweep it again. Great amateur? light show, and free?, here it would be £10 just to look.
You must have some storage space in the area of Helsinki.
I presume you don't drag around all those winter goodies in summertime, the chimney brush, the winter curtains, ...

Do you burn the wood stove whilst you are sleeping?
Usually whoever is awake longer puts the woodstove full of wood just before going to sleep. So the woodstove usually is burning maybe an hour while we are sleeping, when fire goes out our lpg heater kicks in with thermostat.
