It’s absolutely incredible the stories Jim Nantz has, the relationships he’s developed with guys like Arnie and so many others. Just like Arnie, there will never be another like him. I will always be a fan of you and Mr. Palmer.

Several years ago my sons and I were at the PGA merchandise show in Orlando. We were fortunate to run into Gary Player and Arnold Palmer during the day. With my three sons present each man took us aside out of the flow of traffic, sat us down and spent about 30 minutes talking to us. What a treat. It was almost a spiritual experience. When Arnold passed away my oldest son called me and shared this profound thought. DAD IT ALWAYS SEEMED TO ME THAT MR PALMER THOUGHT THAT WE WERE DOING HIM A FAVOR TO TAKE OUR TIME TO TALK WITH HIM. It is hard not to deeply love a man like that who makes that kind of impression on a teenager who remembers the occasion that vividly when he is in his forty’s. May no one ever forget what that man did for those all around him.

Listen, people with a lot of money use these things as a tax shelter and for PR.
