They glorify these sick people by giving out motivations, their kill count compared to other shootings, the weapon used, their past, social medias, and give them a platform. An APB was put out to all law enforcement and all over the media what type of car he was in. I think a citizen reported seeing it and a cop saw him drive by. Cop called for backup and they made the traffic stop after a short chase.

They won’t make a major motion picture out of this. It’s weird to frame events like this as being worthy or unworthy of films but the Boston bombing was a much more reported case and the manhunt spanned several days. It was a couple days before we even knew who the suspects were. As for a documentary or an episode of a crime show about it that’s pretty much inevitably going to happen.

But as winners proceed to greener pastures, the ones without blessed opportunities must also be treated with respect and honor. I believe this mentality is at the core of the solution. Respect those that you see in misery and in desperate circumstances. Afford these individuals opportunities to contribute, and maybe tone down the sensationalism of politics. It’s obvious our elected officials can’t provide this kind of leadership, so it’s on us to show them how to do it. It’s always been about community. When we disrespect a life, we disrespect our own.

The whole "good guys with guns can stop bad guys with guns" thing is not an absolute. SOMETIMES circumstances will allow a good guy with a gun to stop a bad guy with a gun, and sometimes they won't. NOT allowing any good guys with a guns around reduces those times to zero, of course.
If I’m understanding you correctly, you’re suggesting that not letting the good guy have a gun drops his chances of success to zero, but not letting the bad guy have a gun gives the good guy a 100% chance of success.
