She did great, can you imagine being so great that you bump into a lady and as you're falling you noticed that she's really old so you put your hand around her head so that you would both fall and she would not hurt her head, that's awfully fast thinking on her part, I wonder if she has a Snapchat of that ? And then she pushed her daughter and the old lady into a store to make them be safe, I wonder when she asked her how old she was, because that's definitely important, anytime I bump into someone I want to know how old they are, and then to drive down to the hospital because your cousin scrapes her leg, that's great thinking because I don't think cousins own phones I know none of my cousins own a phone, and everyone that scrapes their leg should go to the hospital. And to remember everything in such detail , what an amazing woman, or maybe she's not a woman, because no one can really describe a woman these days.

@Hol Codd I just watched a recording of the gunshots- there were empty chaors sitting along the street as if the parade hadn't started yet. Didn't seem to be a lot of people. She just stated it happened 10-15 minites into the parade, yet there was no parade happening in the video I saw.
She said they were standing on the street about 10:05 waiting for the parade to start. If you were not there don’t judge how others reacted and described what they went through!

I grew up in Modesto CA and every year we went to Graffiti Nights, where thousands of people cruising, parking, setting up their lawn chairs on the sidewalks, businesses shutting down for the night, everybody walking for miles and jumping in and out of all the nice cars cruising around with the tops off. Never once did I ever think someone would start shooting at us. I feel so sorry for kids today, they will never know that freedom. It's gone. RIP to those that died today. I pray for the families left behind and for the 16 wounded.
Ya back in the day it wasn't even thought that something like that would happen.. Though tbh it's still an unlikely scenario even these days. Thousands of street parties were held this July 4th that were safe, but this instance was the unfortunate outlier.

I’m a mom of two and we had a fireworks celebration near us and I was honestly too terrified to take my kids. I no longer take them in crowded spaces if I can help it anymore. I even have my mom watch them most of the time when I go grocery shopping at this point. It’s so sad what this has come to. This poor mother feeling guilty for simply taking her daughter to have fun. Even tho she did nothing wrong as a mother I know she will probably still feel guilty because that’s how mothers feel. I hate this so much, something needs to change and fast.

This is not the America that I grew up in and it's not the America that I want. Praying for all the families affected by this since the tragedy. I want more families and friends to turn in there loved ones who show signs of evil hearts, mentally unstable minds, and don't value human life. Turn them in to police and sheriffs and turn them in to your local mental health facility in a hospital where they can be held on a watch until a doctor can determine what help the person needs. Some people are just pure evil and there is no help for them. 💔🇺🇲
Sometimes people are just evil. In fact some of the most evil can appear the most sane and charismatic. Do not automatically assume mental illness is synonymous with hurting people. Sometimes we hurt ourselves rather than ever cause harm to another person.

I hope the 95 yr old lady is ok. I also like how she acted as a human shield for her daughter as she fell down from feeling numb.

Yes, Gabriella is a very observant individual and has an excellent clear recollection. Her quick reaction and survival response was very good too. Her clear awareness of everything around her before; during and after this event is great. For a civilian to be able to keep her senses that clear; quick thinking; with an excellent smart reaction during that kind of situation is hard to see these days. Gabriella did a fantastic job protecting her loved ones and even a stranger. A very good momma and an awesome human being right there.

State with some of the strictest gun laws in the nation. Gun laws do not stop criminals. This is tragic however more proof of more gun laws will do absolutely nothing. Putting criminals in jail and keeping them there would be the best start. Not persecuting the law abiding citizens. I can assure you if they had legal concealed carry some of these people would’ve hunted him down.

The woman saw the shooter, why didn't the interviewer ask her for a description? She might have noticed a detail others haven't. Prayers for the surviving victims that they make a full recovery and for all the families that have been affected by this tragic event.
I'm sure the police have spoken to people and have a description. Can you imagine if she said he had dark hair, heavy set and wearing a blue cap. Do you realize what could happen to anyone that would fit that description. Best to let the police do their job.
