Men alone will not be able to turn the " men hating," culture around.
We must have women speaking out in defense of men, for no other reason than self interest.
Men go down, we all go down.
My father, in the 60s, noticed that TV shows were depicting Men as silly dufuses and women as wise and sensible. At the time I thought it didn't matter, but now realize it was the beginning of a social turning.
And here we are 60 years later.

I'm 50+ and I noticed the thing on TV about men being portrayed as dumb and women being the wise ones years ago! It wasn't always mean spirited. But it was there. I haven't watched modern TV in years, so I don't want to know what's going on now.

The goal of subtle indoctrination is:
      1. Make light of it, preferably comedy, as then the lie can be swallowed easily without mental resistance.
      2. Question using emotion instead of facts to push through the lie. That way, facts like history won’t be brought up which would have destroyed the lie. Just let the emotions swirl in the muck.
      3. Challenge and demand by distorting forgotten history of facts and pose questions based on the distorted history.
      4. Silence anyone who dares question the lie inherent within the question.

Jon you are absolutely right. The church has abandoned young men. In fact, it prefers we don't exist (unless there is a single girl the pastor wants to marry off). They do not care that young white men regularly get passed over for promotion, jobs, education etc, nor do they care that our outlook gets bleaker by the year. Two examples from my own experience. At work, after the company emphasized they wanted to hire internally, I applied for an open position I was eminently qualified for (appropriate degree, experience etc). The job went to a black woman from outside the company. The department had a diversity quota and they needed a woman and a minority. I went to grad school to improve my career. Went on my own dime and decided to apply for scholarships. Academically, I was eminently qualified (exceptional grades). Not one scholarship (of 20 odd) was available to a straight white man. I run in very conservative circles and the church has NEVER addressed this. Instead I get groused at on father's day for not being a good enough man (despite not even being married). I'll be honest, it's driven me away from the church. They're thrilled about young women and families, but no one seems to care about young men. Culture is beating us into a pulp and the church doesn't seem to even notice, let alone care.

I started becoming less involved in my church when despite being one of the 10 men who would set up the entire church (as we are a mobile church) at 7am every Sunday, I was treated like a visitor. No respect for the handful of young guys who made the whole thing possible... While the women who work in the nursery, simply babysitting for an hour were treated like the life blood of the church. Several of us guys were unemployed at one point or another, no one really cared. We just were told to "man up."

    The disconnect is simple ...
Every virtue which Christianity extols for husbands is counted against him in divorce and family courts. Because of corrupt law, filling the traditional role of a husband gives a woman unilateral power to destroy their husband on a whim, and the state will financially reward her for doing so.. ... The Church needs classes on how husbands can protect themselves.

Michael Foster talks about "functional bastards", there are many of these young men out there, I was (I am old now) one of them. We have to recover Biblical manhood, gravitas, wisdom, composure, and the understanding that a Godly man is not defined as some effeminate Christian mystic but a man that is consistent, dependable, loves his wife, raises his kids (men are taught kids are annoying and you should shelter from them, yet another lie), and sees the power of the the daily deeds that builds family and culture.
Many men have channeled their energy to porn and video games, as older men (if you are one) lets show these young men the depth of our Savior-King and the definition of a Christian man isn't being "nice" and singing Jesus-is-my-boyfriend music or embracing a phony machismo.
I see it too Jon, many Christian (by percentage lower but there are many waking up) men do too, even if the Church as a whole is focused on catering to a soft feminism.

I'm a woman, so I can only speak from observation. Aside from my father & a couple of very young nephews, my immediate family is women. That said, I've worried for quite a few years over the state of boys/young men. They are being destroyed in the culture. That only ramped up the past 2 years with the social justice / hatred of Ws in particular. It's vile.
Thank you for the interview with your friend. He seems very thoughtful and well spoken. I hope he is still following Christ and doing well in this insane world.
His reverse social justice comparison made sense! It's the same oppressed/oppressor paradigm. I didn't think of it quite that way before. It just goes to show that sin has no skin tone. We're all in the same boat. That's why Scripture must apply to all these issues. When it comes to the problem facing men right now, mentorship is key. So many boys/young men lack a father in the home. Some fathers are struggling because they didn't have a good example with their own father. The negative cycle perpetuates itself, generation after generation. That's why a community like the one that led him on the path to salvation is so important. That's why Scripture talks so often of fathers teaching their children, older men teaching younger men, etc. Maybe in years past, there were more fathers in homes and in churches. Also, in years past, men spent more time together out of necessity, working and doing other necessary life activities. Again, I'm a woman. I can only speak from general observation. Men seem to bond more over shared activities rather than (first) talking about their feelings and personal struggles.
Thank you, Jon. This was an important topic. (Nice throwback with the music as well. I love that.)

    • @chriscampbell9191
      @chriscampbell9191 Рік тому

In the past there were more fathers in homes because they weren't booted out of them as they are now, courtesy of no-fault divorce, and courtesy of the State. 7 out of 10 divorces in the US are filed by the wife (as the stats aren't really based on the raw data, the percentage may or may not be higher). You can draw your own conclusions from that fact. And you won't ever hear any preacher talk about it, either.

The problem with dating in Christian circles is the church is so women-focused that if the relationship falls apart, it's the guy's fault. That and guys are terrified of being me-tooed. I know I am. I wouldn't consider asking a girl out in this climate. It's not worth having my life destroyed. That's why young men don't want to date. Not worth the risk.

Unfortunately the church also has fallen into this idea that women’s standards are fine and holy, but any standard a man has for a wife can be shamed and labeled as misogynistic. I have made comments online about desiring a wife who is a virgin and you wouldn’t believe the blowback you get. Keep in mind this is from Christians.

  • @waakow

You're touching on something no one else really in the church is.
Our current situation is extremely analogous to the Weimar Republic in Germany. I don't think people realize the amount of parallels. Weimar Germany had legal prostitution. Homosexuality was out in the open. The concept of "trans" was started. Heavy inflation and cost of living issues. Communist Bolsheviks were taking over academia. All of these problems were solved by a return to tradition and good family values brought to the people through the Nazi party. So we have a perfect example of the pitfalls we can find ourselves in if we continue down this road. We have to be wary of the solution bringing its own evil.
Disenfranchised men are certainly a tragedy. A tragedy not even my reformed church seems to recognize. I pray God gives the church the wisdom to see this and combat it with love.

    • @earlofbroadst
      @earlofbroadst 2 роки тому +3

A *supposed* return to tradition and good family values. Nazism wasn't really dedicated to either. It just pretended to be in order to garner support. That's the pitfall we need to avoid, which is why I think the Church has to be absolutely clear - all totalitarianism is inherently anti-Christian. Communism and fascism are two sides of the same poisonous coin, and both ideologies must be outright rejected. Not softly either, but kicked in the teeth.

Leon Podles "The Church Impotent: The Feminization of Christianity" is good on this. The church has abandoned the dialogue of the feminine and masculine, even the articulation of what they are. The masculine is that which is willing to suffer even unto death for the sake of the highest good, in past the church commended men's struggle of which Christ was the exemplar. Today the church has made struggle the internal and emotional one for our own belief and has abandoned any outward action for a public act of faith. Modern men have seen how effete the church's struggle is so have taken on others battles that really test them for other goods where they might find actual glory. Kanye is a mess, but he's visibly struggling for christ, he's willing to do what no modern preacher would; sacrifice his own reputation and fight the cultural pressure to declare what he believes his right.

So glad you’re talking about this, Jon! I’ve noticed this too!
I think the Church and Christians need to, as you said, encourage young men in their achievements and not bring them down when they obviously need help. I find often whenever a man has a problem the issue becomes “how will this effect women?” And not “how can we help this man?” I find that many issues effecting men, whenever people try to solve them, it’s seen as taking away from women somehow, even in some churches. We often perpetuate this in out Churches for no good reason.
As for asking questions, We saw this in churches when people asked questions. The questions were made the problem and the person was made a pariah. And that caused many people to leave the faith. We need not fear such questions but be ready to answer them. No matter how offensive the question or answer may be to this world.

I guess my thing is I'm kinda "quiet quitting" being a man, and I think a lot of other guys are too. For instance, never have I EVER in any church I have ever been to heard a message FOR MEN saying why it is GOOD to be a man. Why try? Not to be selfish, but what's in it for me? It seems like I am the one expected to make ALL of the sacrifices, I am the one expected to COMPLETELY lead a relationship, I am the one expected to die, to go to war if the need arises. I am the one who is expected to go work outside in the hot sun all day and be extremely uncomfortable. I am the one expected (biblically) to lead the house and be the thing standing between my family and destruction, but on the worldly side, I'm expected to be the OPPOSITE and if I WERE the biblical leader, I would be crucified by women all over, even Christian women, even my own FRIENDS that are women.
And I scoured the internet to several different men in the biblical community at large to find the answer to the question: What is it all for? Why are men expected to put all of this effort in while women, in my eyes, simply got to "sit there and look pretty". To me, there was absolutely NO dignity behind it. It seemed to be saying "as a man, your life is intrinsically worth LESS than a woman's life". Am I wrong? When's the last time a wife was ever expected to die for her husband?
You wanna know what I found? Nothing of value. Just these preachers admonishing young men pretty harshly, and all they can focus on is how awful men are doing and how the reason the world is so awful is because men aren't praying enough, or men aren't taking their wives on enough dates, or... fill in the blank using your imagination. No love towards men, just visceral hatred. And as a young man already hurting from the lack of identity in a world that hates me, the only thoughts that ran through my mind after hearing that message over and over again were: "What right do YOU have to speak at me like that? If I am to blame for inheriting this condition and incompetence, YOU are equally to blame for helping to create this world for me. You seem to be nothing more than a cynical grown-up boy who was given a soapbox and now you think you're hot s*** and won't shut up about how OTHER people are failing. What a joke."
Whether you think my thought process is right or wrong, you have to at least see what caused it in the first place: A lack of identity (fatherlessness) discovers the internet, finding only abject visceral HATRED for my group (women CELEBRATING online how men are 80% of suicides, what else could you call that?), and a desperate search for what is even worth it about being a man, turning to a group that SHOULD have my back and encourage me, and instead only finding these jerks beating me while I am down.
What's the point? What exactly is WORTH it about being a man?

    • @dwightsmith4641

2023 was a record year with 50,000 men no longer around to be hated. Boys in school have female teachers demanding parents put them on ADHD zombie medication. Now schools want to do major medical procedures on boys without parental consent. Boys are always suspended with more frequency than girls. Colleges have prerequisite classes that teach nothing but hate for men. Men are dropping out of college or not even attending with frequency. Male donors to colleges is dwindling because of hate. The me too movement has made men no longer speak in the workplace. Bosses have cameras pointed at them during all meetings due to HR hate against men. Many men are checking out and constantly talk about living off grid or van life because of the female hate they have sustained. 33% of 18-35 men have never been on a date with a female and they don’t ever plan to go on one. Tic toc has ruined the public gym for men because of females posts. Most men now set up home gyms and now public gyms are closing. Family court hates men and turns men into wage slaves or convicts for nonsupport. Meanwhile the females are actually making more than most young men. Many men up to 40 are still playing video games in their Mom’s basement because they saw how their father, uncle, brother and cousins were treated by the system. Then you want them to go to church that has 65% attendance of females? What, to laugh at them some more for the vast amount of failure? To yell some more at them in an attempt to shame them? Even if you tried to help a couple of them you fall into a dangerous game of making them feel worse for being a project or a basket case. Most men now are choosing peace as far away from drama as they can get. Unfortunately, the church just represents more drama instead of less.

We need to address sin from the pulpit. Women sin. Men sin. Both. That's the first base level.
Then we need to preach a full solution. Christ Jesus and him crucified. We must behold our Lord his beauty and Majesty far and away above all other things.
Practically we need to care about practical things even in the church. Do they need to happen from the pulpit on Sunday morning? Not necessarily but they can't happen throughout the week. How to get a job how to keep a job how to get married, giving a good understanding of history, American history, Church history, world history. Teaching in practical ways.
I certainly don't have all the answers and I wish I had more, but we need to remember that the church gathering is gathering of regular people. Blood bought sinners who have regular lives throughout the week.
Some people get weirded out if it's not a spiritual matter or something as if the church is a holy place. Frankly the church is just a meeting house. The building that is. We need to stop idolizing even the church itself as they even did the temple. And the temple in fact was God ordained, prescribed by the Lord himself. Is the church building? Think about it.
I pastor your church and I would love to see people at the church building 5-6 days a week. The church is small in size though so I understand there's not a lot of people that come and it's more rural. But regardless.
Additional for young men or men in general we need to get men to be involved with practical things that men do. Building things, serving people, chopping down trees, building fences, installing air conditioner units, hanging drywall, this for the church building, this for church members, this for people in the community in general. Serving people with practical work

(Again, woman's perspective incoming.) This made me think of something. The church where I got saved and had my initial spiritual formation was a small one. Many first generation Christians. Many singles, only a couple families/married couples at the time. Many people were from broken homes/addiction/gang backgrounds. We were together all the time. We had Sunday morning, Sunday evening, mid week Bible study/prayer and other ministries as the church slowly grew. Sunday nights nobody ever wanted to go home! Not only did we miss the worship & Bible teaching, but we missed each other. Thinking back now, I was seeing firsthand how discipleship worked. Because it was a small church, everyone knew each other. We were at each other's houses throughout the week. I remember taking my lunch break and a pile of change to use the payphone to call my friends at work to see how they were spiritually doing. Just a brief thing, nothing to take them away from work too long. They were sometimes on break as well. Men would help the single women with car or home repairs. Those men who'd come out of addiction or gangs would take younger guys under their wing, so to speak. They'd hang out with them, read the Bible with them, go to their court appointments with them if that was the situation. There would be calls from someone in crisis and they would go to them, even if it was the middle of the night!
Nobody TOLD us to do this stuff. It wasn't an official ministry. (At least, at first. As things grow, there does end up being a more "formal" process.) It was just the natural outworking of what we'd hear on Sundays about putting Christ first, thinking of others' needs, and serving each other. It never occurred to us to do anything else. And we wanted to do it because we loved God and we loved each other.
How have we lost this very basic thing? Is it just that churches are now too large? I honestly don't know.

    Hey Jon,
Viewer since 2020, here. I wanted to bring some extra context regarding the interview at the end as well as some of your statements about Nick Fuentes, given that I've been following people in the extreme Left and Right since about 2014 or so. This has mostly been through the various Twitter communities they form (I have spent time around Something Awful, 8chan, and Kiwifarms as well) and my fascination with them was largely prompted by events I witnessed in and around Portland when I was living there just as things were starting to get hairy.
A number of things said in the interview come across as... Odd, to say the least. For starters, there is a lot of missing subtext. The term 'A*l*t* R*i*g*h*t' was actually invented as a kind of catch-all term by one Richard Spencer, and was initially viewed with suspicion by the growing number of people who were becoming interested in seemingly Right-Wing ideas not as popular or even wholly alien to typical American small-government conservatism that he was trying to build a coalition with. These groups were disparate; by my reckoning, there were at least four major groups: anarcho-primitivists interested in the writings of Petti Linkola and Ted Kaczynski, Traditionalists interested in the social structures of the Middle Ages, Neo-Reactionaries (often colloquially known under the shorthand, 'NRx') who were inspired to engage in political theory by the writings of bloggers like Mencius Moldbug, spandrel, and older authors such as De Maistre or . Lastly, we have the alluded-to racial nationalists. There is perhaps a fifth category of people who also traffic in political theory but are more interested in the now esoteric and lost writings of the Italian Fascist intellectuals. There was always some degree of bleed-over and cross pollination between these groups, but they would occasionally crash into each other over their visible differences, as well.
Richard Spencer wanted to unify these ideological threads into a kind of political base that could be called upon for purposes that even now remain unclear. After the events of Charlottesville, the entire community became especially distrustful and this project more or less failed. Nicholas J. Fuentes enters the story, here. He - along with a number of other online commentators like 'Prince Hubris' and 'Beardson Beardly' - were able to foment the frustration with Spencer and more or less dethrone him as the most prominent figurehead of the new Right-Wing. They also rejected the label of 'A-l-t R-i-g-h-t' and denounced anyone still using it, in favor of the term 'Dissident Right,' which was meant to be broader and didn't necessarily entail an affiliation with any one of the previously mentioned groups. Nick was, of course, the leader of the 'America First' movement and made that his personal brand, but to his credit (and despite many other controversies) he seems to have been willing to acknowledge that there were other groups in the 'DR' he could be conversant with.
The other thing is this: many of the people in even the more explicitly ethno-nationalist wing of the movement say things that wouldn't really be that out of place on your channel. They simply acknowledge that race and sex are not purely socially constructed, they acknowledge the left-wing slant of America's popular culture and the institutions that give rise to it (at one point Jon and the guest remark on 'Conspiracy Theories' about the Left or something like that, which just comes across as bizarre, given the kinds of topics that get discussed every week), and they question various aspects of popularly-received historical narratives (frequently in a questionable way, quite honestly). It's also not clear exactly what sins the guest was guilty of; there are absolutely trolls in these groups, and of course plenty of disturbingly cruel and uncharitable behavior, but a lot of that seems to have to do with the fact that Twitter is where discussions about these things happens, and it seems to shape the discourse in a way that enables and encourages those ways of expressing one's self. I've certainly seen this problem in many other communities besides just the Dissident Right, up to and including the Evangelical Community. A lot of people in the extreme Right are pretty moderated in their speech and not as hot-headed, of course.
In any case, I agree that there is a lack of love in the Dissident Right - or whatever you might want to call it - and a great number of suspect assumptions and ideas, as well as a wealth of dangerous personalities looking to exploit people. In the process of following and observing these movements, it was definitely clear that something was missing. At the very least, the ideas I was being exposed to brought me to a point where I was able to question a lot of the political programming I received as an everyday American, and I was able to start pushing some of the boundaries of the Centrist American Evangelical worldview I was raised in. Consequently, I joined the Catholic Church. I've been happy since then.
    Just some things to consider.
    Regards,

I mostly like the content of the first half of the episode. The second half was immensely disappointing. I'll say on the front that I am glad the gentleman converted to Christianity and that he's not living in hatred anymore but I don't think the loose collection of alt right beliefs are being fairly represented. I think the "Alt Right" is probably better termed the "dissident right" and virtually everyone I know who is most aligned with that ideology is on a positive trajectory.
I get that it is his story that he was dealing with those feeling of inadequacy, being bullied, etc. but I didn't come to adopt the D.R. views until I was already successful in my career, already leading a family, already having kids, making enough money, etc. I've had good relationships with people of other races, count many of them my friends and I've extended hospitality to them. The reason to adopt these D.R. views is because they're largely accurate views of the world. When you look at the racial makeup of banks, P**n, Hollywood, journalism, hedge funds, brokerages, sports management, music industry, Biden's cabinet, etc. you either have to deny the facts or admit they are true. When you look at who pioneers transgender ideology - and has even during N*zi Germany, when you look at crime statistics, and finally when you look at the *actual statements they openly say* you have to admit the truth of the racial and identity issues involved. Looking at weaponized migration and its relationship to globalism.
Political issues are not ultimate but we have to preserve a place for our kids and we can't hope on a plane to the middle east once all of America is ruined. The reason why these issues are getting pushed so hard in this generation is because the stigma and political machinery has been rigged for decades against us being able to accurately identify these problems and so we have no ability to actually set to work solving them. The goal is not to wipe out other races or anything crazy like that, but to simply secure a homeland which our own kids can live securely in.
Here is an analogy. Think of a world (it is not hard to imagine) where *talking* about obesity is completely off limits. All of the discourse on the issue is about stigma associated with obesity, absurd debates about whether obesity is healthy and so on. You can't actually SOLVE the problem of obesity and offer strategies until you actually identify it is a real problem, and the nature of the beast is that the first wave of the attack must be draw the fire: stepping out and saying, "Obesity is caused by overconsumption of calories, everyone can control how many calories they consume and burn outside of extreme circumstances, and it is a leading cause of death." Then dropping the arguments for it. Then you have the asymmetric warfare of needing to actually use memes and social pressure to break the resistance and only then can you offer solutions.
That's the same issue we are facing now. We are witnessing the failure of the enlightenment project, the end stage of classical liberalism, and dealing with actual existential threats, and before we can come up with actual solutions, we must not only identify the problem, but destroy the social resistance to identifying the problem. We should not jump to conclusions and assume that the answers are extreme or unchristian solutions. There are hundreds of potential ways we could probably solve these problems if we had the will to.
Again, politics is not everything, but it is a basic duty of Christian love to want my people and especially my own kids to have a homeland that doesn't abuse them where they can actually live out their lives in peace.

As far as I can tell, Kanye's job is to play a role in the theatrics of pop-culture propaganda. I don't know what is going on with the Kanye plotline, but I think we should encourage young men to ignore pop-culture propaganda and we should do the same to set as an example. We should be careful to speak rightfully, as Jon said, but also as I have said, to do each and not leave the other undone. In the case of Kanye, the concern is the public influence of the propaganda.
Even if I am wrong that Kanye is playing a role, I am right that we should encourage ourselves and others to ignore the influence of pop-culture.

The common trait for both left and right is deep desire for justice and it involves political/social involvement, but it never seems to materialize. Judging by the fruits of the high suicide rate, I have to consider that the KJV may be more to the point. "If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable."
In my view God may not be real enough when the events that happen to men and women of faith in the Bible becomes only head knowledge and not soul knowledge.

We need to talk. I've written a book called The Catalysm of the Kingdom of Heaven that addresses this dynamic.
I truly believe that a main part of the problem is that those who run church buildings have established a model with two parts that are not Biblical and suit women more than men.
The sermon is an adaptation from the Greek Sophists. Jesus said let no one call you rabbi, for there is one teacher, the Christ. A sermon where the pastor shoves weird theology and tithing down the throats of the congregation is perfect - for leadership. For a self respecting man, it turns him into a passive sniveling whiner who is powerless to confront or challenge, in a timely, meaningful way the assertions of the leaders.
This passive audience oriented Christianity emasculates men like nothing else.
The book really only handles criticism in the introduction, the rest of it is an organized creed / confession for the believer, establishing the priesthood of all believers with the only authority being the complementarian authority of a hisband over his wife.
But the other thing it addresses is true worship which church leadership has made feminine by claiming that what you do at church on Sunday is worship. By conflating both exulatant praise and works of service with worship (which is prostration) , church leaders conveniently make what the physical church building and the leadership they provide the center of the Christian experience.
The creed specifies a very specific prostration for Christians to follow that does not involve repeating words and does not conform to Islam.
This may sound strange, but most men will tell you that one of their biggest spiritual struggles is 'spending time with God' because the institutional church has encouraged men to believe that the most intimate experience for them with God is screaming Hillsong from the top of their lungs on Sunday.
The book also pulls no punches with men in making it clear that when fasting and praying don't seem to be helping a man to be strong, get to work, to choose action over inaction or the desire to quit, that its time to mortify the flesh.
The woke community will say this is nonsense, but men are called to lead and be strong, and if they can't grow the pair they need to put their video games down and take care of their wife, kids, and community, its time to stop pussy footing around.
Ill send you an email address and GV number if you are interested.

The book also invites women to discover the secret of a man's soul and to delight in the strength and wildness men were created to offer.”

I really think we should be more manly specifically about proclaiming the Gospel. Lord Jesus has made God obvious, but we were each born into sin, and we didn't want our wrongdoings refuted and corrected. Ultimately, that is described as dying in Christ and becoming new in Christ. Because unbelievers, which we all once were, are attached to their own self-identity, they love the darkness more than the Light. The Light is Lord Jesus according to His Gospel. The darkness is to not genuinely believe the true Gospel. The problem is not that we need to make a compelling case (Lord Jesus is plenty persuasive). The problem is the sinner can only believe the Gospel if he first acknowledges that he has failed and done evil and blasphemed God and deserves eternal destruction for his sins, and the sinner would rather think more highly of himself. However, look to the love on the cross! The One and the Only One who did right and deserves all good and no bad, because He is able, and because He is loving, bore torturous death to save sinners from themselves. What Lord Jesus has done has been broadcast into all the world from Pentecost until now, and he has made it obvious through the character of His mercy, through the glorious obviousness of His righteousness. He is worthy to pay in full, willing to pay in full, and has paid in full; He raised from the grave, ascended into the sky to His Heavenly Throne, He rules every detail, and every human owes to believe Him for what He has done in full view of Humanity. Lord Jesus has promised that anyone who is believing His Promise absolutely is not ever going to die. Do you believe this? It is God's Gospel-command that you believe, He is worthy of your belief, and you owe your belief to Him.
"Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil." So saith the wisdom of the Lord.
    And again:
"Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God? Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent. They said therefore unto him, What sign shewest thou then, that we may see, and believe thee? what dost thou work? Our fathers did eat manna in the desert; as it is written, He gave them bread from heaven to eat. Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Moses gave you not that bread from heaven; but my Father giveth you the true bread from heaven. For the bread of God is he which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world. Then said they unto him, Lord, evermore give us this bread. And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst. But I said unto you, That ye also have seen me, and believe not. All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out. For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me. And this is the Father’s will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day. And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day."
    Just trust Messiah.
Go; and proclaim the Good News.

YES! We are told to share the gospel but without the part about sin/judgment/hell! That doesn't even make sense. It's only half the message. People don't think they are sinners. Or, at least, "I'm not as bad as so-and-so." Why would they want to get saved if they don't know what they're being saved FROM? What you're being saved FROM is the wrath of Almighty God as just punishment for your sins!

My son is a young white male (non-Christian) and even as a liberal democrat, has observed and commented about society’s attack on white males. He has been passed over on jobs given to women and has struggled to find even part-time employment. He’s in college and I advise him that the deck is stacked against him and therefore, he needs to work harder and be more patient. Fortunately, I have a business that he will take over when I’m gone but I am painfully reminded about society’s discrimination against white men in particular. I pray for him regularly to repent and turn to Christ first because God takes care of His own, just as He has taken care of me and I have taken care of my son. In other words, Christians who are saved belong to Him and God will take care of them because they are His children. Steer clear, therefore, of Christian Nationalism (there is nothing Christian in it other than the name) and lean instead on the cross for help. That is where the Church is failing; we need to remind our young men that their salvation and guidance is in the Bible, not political philosophy grounded upon pre-Revolutionary War ethno-nationalism; i.e., Christian nationalism. White Christian males are not the first, nor the last, to be persecuted by the world (have we forgotten about Christian slaves in America who had no political power or platform to say what Jon is saying?). True Christians know this and while I applaud and appreciate Jon’s practical advice, as Christians we know what to do: seek first the Kingdom of God, have faith in Christ and pray to Christ for help and guidance and especially, wisdom, on a DAILY basis. Most importantly, go to church regularly because we all need to be fed spiritually on a consistent basis. God has promised to take care of each of us who has a personal relationship with Christ, regardless of our skin color. If you are not a Christian, however, you are essentially on your own and part of the world in which you live. That is but one reason Christians are to spread the Gospel and lead others to Christ. Maranatha.

The church's problem in brief. The sermon is Sophistry, not Biblical and its a passive emasculating experience.
Worship (prokuneo / shachah) is NOT exultant praise or works of service, its prostration. Want to fix this? Read The Catalysm of the Kingdom of Heaven that reforms Christianity to make the man the head of the home instead of the feminizing idea that other men are the head of the Christian faith instead of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
You will NEVER make men stronger the way the instituitional church asserts its authority, teachings, and skewed obfuscation of worship.

Actually, Jon after listening to this, I think I’ve identified (and please nobody get angry, I mean this respectfully) the biggest problem with Pasteur Doug Wilson trying replace the word racism with kinist. The word racist has lost its meaning, because anyone and everything is now racist, (especially young white men) but when you use a word like kinist, and then a person looks up the word, the definition you will probably find, ONLY applies to young white men. Every time Paster Wilson uses the word, its the only demographic that comes to mind, because I know the origin of the word.
I think ethnic partiality is a better replacement. (You might say its, “the great RePLaCeMent.)

I can just speak to my experience. About 2 years ago, I was fat, a loser, , depressed no girl wanted me, and had no ambition. I talked to several pastors about this depression, but everyone said just pray about and God will drop a woman into my life one day. No one in church helped me. Then one day I listened to an Andrew Tate rant that depression isn't real and that if you hit the gym, get money, and find a motivation for life, depression goes away. So I tried that, over the course of a year, I dropped 80lbs, hit the gym consistently, and got more in shape with money. I felt great, best I ever felt in my life, but then my Christian friends came along and said that gym is a waste when you could be praying. It finally broke multiple 10+ year friendships because I started getting in shape and started making money. That's only 1% of the story though. If you want to talk about it further, DM me, I'm one of your FB friends and this is my real name.

You’ve got to take some personal accountability here. At the end of the day, the authority guiding your life if you’re Christian should be the Bible and your relationship with Jesus that you build over time. Finding an amazing masculine, fatherly pastor is a rare commodity. You don’t need to be dependent on any particular church to get this handled. Their message of sit on your ass all day and pray about it is based on their own lazy passive outlook to life, not what the Bible actually teaches. The message of the Bible is actually the polar opposite - you need to grind to get things of value in this life and poverty goes hand in hand with lazy fucks who want to sit around and do anything other than put in work towards their goals. Praying through this struggle with God while continuing to do all the practical work towards improving your life go hand in hand, the two are not at odds
