5:21 speaking of metro, didn't the developers announce a time ago that the game could be modded? I don't remember exactly what they did but it made the Metro games easier to mod and I even read some comments wandering what a open-world Moscow in Metro universe would look like. I remember finding some small mods but nothing big though.

I was in the middle of a Black Market playthrough (some traders buy and sell some weapons for ludicrous prices, like an AK is 200k) when I decided to download UGP. Holy shit is that 50 cal busted in my specific circumstances. I guess the prices are balanced against vanilla Anomaly, so a contender for best gun in the game is like 80k, and the ammo isn't crazy either. I bought it and went and cleared out the Monolith base in Limansk, said "yeah no" and put it on the shelf for when I'm so powerful that it doesn't matter what I'm shooting.
Not to shit on the work of talented, passionate modders, but is anyone really into the "Gamer RGB" accents on guns like the Beowulf? I mean people must be because the entire PC gaming market is built around that color palate, but I just think the nerf gun aesthetic is a weird one to add to Stalker.

Lmao, at 1st, when the image was blurry, i thought it was an hl2 image of freeman on right side and a white area on the left. Then the moment it was almost visible, i got fooled cuz it was metro one, but the plot twist got me rick rolled at the end. How dare you! 😭

Parallax sight mod only work with the sight that you can put on, is there a mod that fix this but for canted sight?

I mainly make anomaly content
At this point just download a cracked Escape from Tarkov (for anyone making the "it's free" argument) since almost every single mod is trying to copy it, specially efp and gamma. It takes a million GB, is beyond buggy, runs like trash because the engine can't take it anymore, has horrendous loading times. Mod makers can do whatever they want and pile as many copies of EFT it still will be bad because the base game is bad simple as that. Wanting to play stalker with mods is fine, wanting to play a knock off EFT(literally copying almost every thing) on top of the base stalker is beyond ridiculous. At first it made some sense but now it doesn't at all.
It's stalker, as a stalker, with modern game mechanics, that's it. It's a fun game to shit around in and it's a unique world that's fun and cool to explore. I don't get all the whining about modern guns or movement and all that because the original games arguably have even more absurd shit, Monolith running custom F2000s with mounted M203s, mercs running gucci ARs with SUSAT sights, suppressors, and grenade launchers, etc. It's not an apocalypse, supplies are not short if you have the money, traders regularly stocked a lot of everything, including firearms. Smugglers regularly haul new crap in by the truckload, rather literally when it comes to the corrupt military. The world outside of the zone is alive, well, and flush with cash and new guns for the stalkers, EFT could very well take place in the same damn universe. But if you don't like modern gameplay and weapons just play old stalker or another mod, no need to crap on this because it's something you don't like
it's honestly just a low effort terraria copy, i dont know why people dont just go and play terraria instead
