Olimar’s Final Smash spikes when you press B above an opponent who is in the air (because the rocket buries them when they’re grounded, just like the pitfall item). I’ve done it to recovering opponents a few times! …but spiking on the way back down?! that’s PRO play my G 😁
Bloody makes my day when I see a new one of these crop up, cheers pal! Wish I could've been there during the Wii Fit struggles cos there's two things that can make it easier. One is that if you press B twice, you can do the headbutt much quicker and the spike still comes out, the ball trajectory will be different (probably better), but the header is the same. The other gamer tip is, if you blast the ball somewhere irrelevant where it can linger for a bit, you can still input Side B again and you'll do the header with no ball present. It's all horrendously impractical for during a match of course, but for a challenge like this, it can be manipulated a lil bit
Something about Olimar / Alph's final smash spike, you can spike with the start of it. So you could've thrown someone off stage, and activated final smash above them, causing them to get spiked. I know this because Olimar/ Alph is my secondary.
the reason why Wii Fit Trainer’s side B kept sending the opponent backwards is because the opponent was more behind her than in front of her. yes, for some reason, the hitbox exists behind her for a second too, it’s like a mirrored move

Here is a trick for Bayonetta's Down Air : If someone is always recovering low and very close to the stage, run offstage, ABK (aerial side B) against the wall and down air. You should survive even if you don't jump cancel your up-Bd (Up-B, jump, Up-B, jump and airdodge should be enough).
