I had never seen, nor heard of, Shoot for the Stars. Having just read a description of the game play on Wikipedia, I'd say you're absolutely right, @Mitchell Ries. When I auditioned for Celebrity Double Talk, I had never even heard of it. While I'm so grateful to have been somewhat successful in my appearances, I never felt motivated to watch it for entertainment, so I agree with your opinion of it as well.
They probably could have accepted the wrong answer in the last puzzle in the second maingame. The challenger may have been brought back to the show because of it.
On Double Talk and Celebrity Double Talk, Henry Polic II was the host and Johnny Gilbert was the announcer.
The problem with "Double Talk" was that this show ran into a buzzsaw known as "The $25,000 Pyramid".
Now stay tuned for Ryan's Hope next here on ABC
Personally I don't think much of this show. It was just a remake of Bob Stewart's previous game Shoot for the Stars.

Bob, if this game show come back, would you play again?
Sure! But I wouldn't watch it.
@Bob Lieberman Have you been on other game shows? 😃

I get your point, but I disagree. "Twister" is not equivalent to "in knots."
@@BobLbrmn Perhaps they didn't invite the player back on a future episode, then
@@zachhoran I sure they didn't
@@BobLbrmn "What all do you have of this 1986 ABC Game Show?"
@@Retrotv Only the four episodes I appeared on.
