2024 summer kiln opening with Nigel

- The long awaited moment has come and we can now safely open my giant kiln to see the results of work of many people. The famous dragon pot, who waited for a year to be fired is coming out and the mini pot collection by Nigel Saunders as well. Alongside, there are works of my students from private classes, group workshops and guided meditations as well as very few of my own pieces and my friend's pieces. My husband Martin made beautiful paper weights with his incredible calligraphy in cursive style.
Stay tuned and enjoy our amazement, emotions, impressions and joy of completing the long creative process of clay. At the end, I share in more detail about the work of my students with a moving story of a pure hearted individual, who expressed with clay first time in his life in his late seventies.

@threelittlepotters oh yes, thank you for sharing this. When people learn new skill they are often very critical of themselves so if we can encourage them and show them how amazing it is that they had tried something new it makes it a more success process for everyone 💜
