  • Just like the title says, this is my first time ever riding a Ducati Streetfighter and I must say I like it. The more I ride naked bikes and see them in person the more I am starting to like them. The Streetfighter boast looks and character in the performance department.

      Absolutely! Ever since I got a Streetfighter 848, all my other bikes just sit. I can only imagine how good the SF V2 is.

    I think the wings are optional. With them, it looks just like a V4 at first glance. I like it.

    Have this in the same green for over a year now, I feel the suspension is a bit stiff but good enough to keep you planted on turns , definitely not for touring the stock seat is horrible and I felt it is too light for speeds excess of 75mph I felt I was getting a bit swayed not sure if its me or the bike though. The rear brakes are almost non existent but front brembos do better. But the best part is it comes alive after 8000 rpm and really pulls hard. Love it so far !

    I own a panigale V4s, so I think of I were to get one I'd rather stay with the V4 series but yeah I could see myself rocking a streetfighter. I do believe your right that the V4s do have larger displays. Your probably right about the throttle delay. The modes make a pretty big difference on the ducs. Didn't know you were in the ft Campbell area. That's not too far away.

      @itsmeericb nice. Yeah, I've seen your videos from out there before. Maybe I'll see you out there one of these days. I really like the cinematic quality of a lot of your videos and I'm working towards stepping up my video quality as well. It would be cool to get some insight into your process.

    How can you lower that bike? Just with suspension adjustment?

    • @itsmeericb
      @itsmeericb  3 місяці тому

      It’s probably not, just looked like it was in the rear. I’ve seen shorter riders do it to R6’s before. You can lower it adjusting the sag or preload. Or suspension straps for the front forks. Never personally lowered a bike but I believe that is a way.

    Do people look at the bike at lights etc? Does it have presence, especially in this lovely colour?
    Does it say "look at meeeeee"?

      @@itsmeericb Unfortunate as the V2 needs to be revved to 11-12k to really get the 150+bhp out of it, shifting at 9k they feel no faster than the Monster that has like 40 bhp less

      @@checkyourself164 153 at 10.750 rpm, so You are not quite right, and pretty much every naked in that class have to go over 9.000 rpm to produce max hp. I own a sfv2 and it feels pretty faster than the Monster from 6.000 - 6.500 rpm and up

    • @checkyourself164
      @checkyourself164 Місяць тому

      Very right. Congrats on reading the brochure. The tach signal on these as with literally any other bike overeads. To get a real 10750 rpm you'll need to be seeing almost 11500rpm on the dash. Do your research y@@allangrse617

    That green is growing on me. Tired of all black. I wish Ducati would add more bikes with cruise control. Honestly all manufacturers should do it.

    • @itsmeericb
      @itsmeericb  Місяць тому +1

      Yeah that’s the only thing with Ducati. They won’t put cruise control on tier bikes. Crazy because Aprilia and MV Agusta have it.

      Im actually happy they dont have it... Why would I pay ekstra for something I never would use 🤷🏻‍♂️ CC on a naked seems at bit silly, but i guess they could make i optional for those
      who wants to pay for that luxury

    • @dantimber
      @dantimber Місяць тому

      @@allangrse617 Respectfully I disagree. I use cruise control in my truck even for relatively short trips on the highway mostly to relax and avoid speeding tickets. Studies have shown speeding on commutes only shaves a few minutes. Naked bikes can be used as commuters so why not have cruise control.

      @hibrooksphotography2062 18 днів тому

      @@itsmeericb I meant - you aren’t supposed to ride a new motor with factory oil over 6000rpm for 1000km (600 miles). You rode it cold then pulled it to the red line - that is why the orange light was coming on.

    • @itsmeericb
      @itsmeericb  18 днів тому

      @@hibrooksphotography2062 I did? Anyway it doesn’t make the bike just unusable anymore. It’s one thing if you do it ALL the time but once or twice isn’t hurting it. I’ve done it with my MV Agusta as well and it’s fine. If it was a problem they would put a limiter on it just like BMW and we see how BMW has been having engine issues lately. That’s probably why they have a limiter on it during break in.
