I toured the Bologna factory and visited the museum with my wife and two daughters in mid May of last year. I don't think this was on their "bucket list" but was certainly on mine. Haha.

@@steve00alt70 The cost of bikes is a different issue. I wish Ducati made folding/retracting wings on this so around town you could stow them for a clean look and pop them out for highway riding. After all they do basically nothing until you’re well north of 100km/h.

It’s just a straight up fantastic looking machine. The Italians can do it like no one else, they just know how to make a bike look like a perfect blend of form and function
Interestingly the design team was led by a Kiwi called Sam McCafferty. He’s since left Ducati after working for them for 3 years. He also designed the previous gen SFV2 as well as the new V2 Pani and SF. Bloke’s a genius :)

As much as I love the look and iconic value of the ss. From a maintenance/cost and torsional aspect of a double makes sense for me. I daily a v2 ss it’s not great for chain and sprockets changes
You’ve come a long way lads - I remember the day you revealed your partnership with BvG - now you’re getting global exclusives & selling out live cinemas 👍🏻
Keep the wings on racebikes where wheelies can slow you down. No need for them on a streetbike. I'm from the era where we loved a good power wheelie whether on purpose or not.
I’ve got the 2020 Streetfighter V4s which I’ve had from new and never thought I’d be tempted to get rid of it, but.. that looks the nuts and you can have cruise control at last
I'll admit, wasn't a fan of the 2025 V2 when it was shown a month or so ago but it has grown on me a lot then they release this and I'm like ok, I'm sold. Loving the look of the new SF now.

All that horsepower! Should be just about adequate for popping down to the shops
Can't wait for your full review on track and road. My 1290 desintegrated it's gearbox a few months ago. Tried the last sf v4 but it was too anti social concerning it's "noise" for me. This could be the one. Keep up the good work. Until it gets warmer I just keep rockin my 44teeth beenie and wait till there are some sf v4 demos for me to try. Love you guys 😙
As a current Streetfighter V4S owner, I have to say the new bike looks stunning. They should do a version in the white bodywork, like the last gen Panigale V2 had 😊
IMHO the wings should be great for those "fall off stand" situations. Here's the thing, check whether the price of the wings is less/more/same between left (stand side?) and right side. The difference shows the character/motivation of the manufacturer.
Looks proper badass. The new model looks better than the outgoing IMO. They did a nice work integrating wings into a naked. Doesn’t look as tacked on as on some other bikes.
You blokes are great! Having lived with a Panigale since 22, I’d think I’d go for the street fighter in this generation!! I have a first gen Diavel also, so Idk if it’s more comfortable?? I Doubt it! Thanks for all you do!
Woohoo for you guys @fortyfourteeth for getting the premier. I was undecided about the V2 and now I know why. It's the high exhausts on that. Like the looks of the v4 a lot better. The double sided swing arm still stings a bit though.
Not sure why the iconic single-sided swing arm is gone and I could stull do without the winglets, but I will be buying this bike once my current commuter finally kicks the bucket: 2005 GSXR 1K with 96K+ miles. I absolutely love my Gixxer but I need this Ducati in my life at some point.
You simply need the wings because take it on the track like I do, and with all that power you wont be slow on the straights. No need for a lengthy justification. Well that and of course it makes it look more aggressive.
Many options for carbon bits, the after market exhausts are going to be interesting. Riding through rural France or Italy in summer. Perfect. The M1 & London in winter, not so much. More than 200bhp on a street bike - mad and bad. Much less messy that the older one. Those wings are the 916 left side fairing. A money spinner.
