It's amazing how, yes. anyone with a beginner camera can recreate that shot, and that "its not about the gear", etc, but on a commercial level I see how you need to have the utmost quality and gear to get the job done.
I am buying Aputure gears ... just for their sharing to the community with this channel...I can live with lower quality fixtures and no mobile app..many other things.. but we have to support the brand who try to share and collaborate ..
Im more a documentary film maker, although Id love to try this robotic arm one day. At the moment 1/3 of my house are shelves for keeping filming products. Lol. I also keep things organized with ikea shelves. I understand you how frustrating can be sometimes when filmung and missing a filter, a lens or just the needed screw. Lol. If I make good money Ill buy a studio for storing and filming. At the moment Ill keep it at home. Thank you for your video. I identifyed myself in many things you shared.
Creators be like..DIY cheap approach to shoot coffee... End up using robotic arm and what not... Ever heard of Paul Aston,Daniel Schiffer or atleast Jubear Talukdar?
To all the filmmakers - How would you make products look really good with lighting?
What a corona-mask-disaster.
Notes for self: 1 stop = 2x the light or Half the light.
Full stops: 0.7, 1, 1.4, 2 2,.8, 4, 5.6, 8, 11, 16, 22, 32, 44. Therefore 6.6x amount of light = 2and 2/3 stops.
PS: Jumping 1 stop = 2x, 2 stops = 4x, 3 stops = 8x, 4 stops = 16x, 5 stops = 32x
Sir, can u explain what stop means? thanks!
Cheap Product, Hella Expensive equipment. Ok Got it!
Maybe haha but that last shot we did can definitely be achieved with a cheaper slider instead of a motion control arm
hahahhahahahaha that is that point! OMG
i chuckled 😂
So true.
🤣🤣🤣

Solid as always!
I see the "changing light effect" at 8:00 can be replicated with a slider.
love these type of videos!
and I freakin love my aputure gear!
"You can also use this to make cocktails..." yeah I guess not only cocktails hahaha
Hey aperture, can you provide some information about the smoke device? used at the first 10 seconds of the video? Thank you
Its called a Stundenglass and is really only used for making cocktails and drinks as well as the consumption of various burnable plants…
@@baileym2952 hahaha thank you! i realy thought it was a apecial device for special(proctical) smoke effect.
name/link of the smoking gun?
What is the smoke machine gizmo called?
It's called a Gravity Infuser!
I wonder how many hours this took... Soo good!
We shot for a full 10 hours, but it's mostly because we have to take our time and record the soundbites for the video haha
with that lighting and studio, expirience and crew u have, u can make dust sellable :D
The experience and crew are so understated!
@@aputurelighting true.
