Came across a tank featuring the males in planted tank. Looked good ,liked the activity and thought id have a go at breeding them. Been in the hobby over 45 years, and now i breed what i can move ,offset food and electricity costs. Low cost high turnover. Mutt guppys, Cherry shrimp and Bristlenose my biggest movers. Always like to try new challenges. Thanks for watching, Cheers.
Thanks for watching. Never worried about critters. Dont really know. I do remove as many snails as i can when setting up a tank for spawning. They hatch in 24 to 36 hours , so not as important as a 5 day gestation period for some eggs. Im quiet happy to get 50 or 60 raised up each batch. If i need more i just have another spawn, Cheers.
This was so cool, Craig! Thanks for sharing 😊 I enjoyed the kitty bomb at the end! So cute
Thanks for watching Audra , she was letting me know she wanted to go inside to eat, haha, had enough of hanging out after 5 hours outside . Cheers.
great breeding video
Many many thanks, Cheers.
Thank you, Craig! Curious why you're partial to Cherry Barbs? I love 'em but wondering about your passion... Anyway, Cheers from Chicago :)

Hello, another big fan of Cherry barbs here! My cherries mate everyday.
Question, are copepods cyclops or other critters harmful to the eggs?
