Hey man! Great video! I use only the OpenTrack software, there is no need to another one... You can set the input to 'neuralnet tracer', than configure your webcam directly on OpenTrack. It is the exactaly same result.
Amazing how much better camera based tracking has gotten with this software and "AI". I had used one before with very jittery response, so I had to stop using it. This tracker looks very responsive. Thanks for showing it Clumsy!
I'm trying to visualize a tracker in MY future. Makes the game(s) even more realistic and immersive. I love the engines sounds here, btw. Nice job, as always.
very cool video clumsy and tbh when you are moving your eyes its very smooth tbh for a minute i thought you where using your track ir because of how smooth it was. awesome work clumsy. fully enjoyed this video 😀👍🏻
Nice video and thanks for the demo, this looks really good. I assume you have a single monitor setup for ETS2 so dont move your head very far to look left and right?
@ your video came one month too late unfortunately haha. It's great though, works really well. Just the placement is a bit fiddly being under the monitor and all.
No good config base is most of the time the case. I had 3 different types in the last years and all of them sucked on default settings. My new default is to set every possible setting if it makes sense directly to low or 0.1 After that slowly raising point by point checking if it is good. All default settings were way too fast and gave my sickness. Which is also true for tilting. As long as that is active I get sick very fast 😮
I have trackIR as well, but I only use it for Farm Sim. I've tried using it for Truck Sim, but I feel as if I can't "relax" as much, since most of the time you're looking straight, and having to be forced to sit so still, kinda feels like a chore. Maybe I should tweak my settings to add some deadzone, but I just feel like I've tried multiple times.
@@PlazmaBooy yup! There should be a hotkey in trackir called pause or something similar. After a few seconds of pressing that your view will automatically reset in truck sim and you can use numpad keys again.
Hey Clumsy the software seems cool but i used to use the software from this tutorial from couple years ago ua-cam.com/video/gRSMTx_d-fU/v-deo.htmlsi=5CIjeGCN-1jNNMw_ and using my Huawei P40 Lite paired to my PC using droidcam i got pretty decent results but i stopped using it because double sided taping my phone to my wall didn't work consistently enough and i still just use numpad to look using the plugin for smooth camera from the forum and now removed it since its an official feature now sincei belive 1.53
Thanks for sharing. Maybe try this one as well. It supports even if the camera/phone is below the monitor, as long as it can still see your face. So if you have a phone stand it should work.
And when the world needed him most, he returned.
Perfect head tracker setup for those who doesn't like use many gadgets. Simplicity wins today a new costumer. Good video. Congratulations.

Do u still uses Opentrack? to connect Beam eye tracker or I just use Beam then use my webcam and thats all?
yes, you need both. I explain it in more detail in the vid.
Had I known about Beam Eye Tracker, I would have gone down that route rather than purchasing Tobii Eye Tracker. So much cheaper!
Yeah, very interesting how technology is constantly evolving. Still, congrats on the purchase! Hope it's serving you well nonetheless.

Do you plan to use ProMods in the next episode?

Yes, exactly. Maybe in your case turning it off on highways would work, too.
@TheClumsyGeekGaming can you easily turn it on/off? Never knew lol
