OMG! Overwhelmed isn't even even the word!!! I would go crazy, the pottery was amazing, so much stuff. I can only imagine what all else is in that house, it boggles the mind thinking about it. The poster is amazing and so sad. Gone forever, but sure not forgotten by so many of us. Great finds!! Hope they have another sale that you can go to that opens up the other rooms. Best of luck hunting!
At around 11:15 I saw a small hard plastic doll in a green crochet dress. In 1957 my second grade teacher gave each girl one of these in a home sewn taffeta pinafore, I still have her. The boys got a wood paddle ball. These were class Christmas gifts. Very sweet.
*Deep, creepy voice* “A lonely road. A Grail picker too long without sleep. A Lost house choc a Block with dizzying goodies…..” ( come back Rod Serling!) That was a head spinner, Renee. Kudos for managing to sift a few things out from that ‘miasma’. Cool stuff too. The framed cards were my faves..😊
Holy mackerel was that house packed. Too bad Tony couldn’t get it as a clean out, you would be in heaven. Thanks for taking us along. Sad thing is, a builder will probably buy it and tear it down.
Have to agree with others this place was not only crowded with Treasure Hunters but Wow what a lot of Stuff!! Looks like they had everything in this place . Not a lot of elbow room to move for people and stuff . Me I love thrifting and finding pretty ornaments and stuff at a great price but to be there before the sun even comes up I likely couldn’t pull that off . Kudos to you and those who are able to . Really great treasure Insaw on the video That I really liked ! Thanks for your wonderful and friendly content . Laura in Canada 👍🏻🫶🏻😊🌺🌸🌼🍁🎃👻🇨🇦🇨🇦
So many awesome finds! It's hard to pick my favorite but I definitely love the Strawberry Shortcake mug and all of the Halloween goodies!! I would absolutely have to keep the mug :) I had a few Jem dolls when I was little too.
Looked like a great idea to keep it to the first floor. Too much stuff to look at. I think there will be more sales there, they will bring items from the other rooms in to the floor they are selling on. Keep an eye on that place, maybe even give them one of your cards along with a Tony and a Taco card. Never know, you may land it.
Boy, you were not kidding a diggers delight. WOW!! I'm a glass "breakables" person. It was hard for me to watch you pass the breakables up. I'm also a holidays person too. I would have bought so much. ☺️ Thank you for sharing. I know how hard it is to film and hunt at the same time. I'm a UA-camr also. You got some good stuff. ☺️💖✨️
I really wanted to reach over your shoulder on this one! What ever was in that McDonalds bag in the kitchen cupboard where you grabbed the Strawberry Shortcake mug will forever be a mystery. I was a Raggedy Ann and Andy book series girl. They were very old but my little self in the early 80's loved them. They were like from the 1920's so I'd have to ask my mother what some of the things were they talked about. I saw a Holly Hobby-type doll just before you found the Shimmer doll, too, I might have grabbed. That Shimmer doll made me laugh. I think I missed out on that stuff by about 15 years or so. That Sprinkler ashtray I would have absolutely grabbed, too. What a great place. I do hope you get a chance to go back for another look through. Probably worth it. You found some goodies!
You might try to clean the Santa with a bit of corn starch. Sprinkle it on and let it sit for a few minutes. Turn it upside down and shake gently, then brush off with a very soft brush, like a make up brush. I've had success with this method in the past.
OK Ms Moose, you put me into sensory overload with this episode. Seeing all those keepsakes out reminded me of my childhood when I went to visit with my pastor Dad older people who were called shut ins and had so many keepsakes out and I was always told not to pick up or break anything and of course at times I failed to follow instructions because everything looked so neat. When I saw the plastic covered chair I recalled a similar chair with the same type fabric and my mother covered it with plastic. I think the company that sold such plastic coverings had a name starting with Butter something or another. Anyway you took me down memory lane for some fond memories.
What the heck...now that´s a bit tricky to get into a digger´s delight like that. 🧐Was it worth the trip ? Definitely, because in my opinion this property was packed with interesting stuff for reasonable prices. And you got a whole bunch of treasures as well for resale or for your personal collection. I like especially the old ashtray with sprinkler, the Santa mask (you might clean it carefully with pressure air), the bathing beauties and, not to forget, the Phillipsburg documents. 😃Hope that you practiced your personal kind of haggling. 😉 I like it when customers try to haggle a little bit, except the brutal variety ("That´s all scrap, anways, I´ll be generous and give you five bucks instead of fifty"). 😆Keep it up, and go ahead to new adventures ! 🤞Greets from GER, U.
I was excited to dig through the upstairs & the garage (what could have been in all of those boxes!), but I understand the homeowner's concerns. They have a long road ahead of them with the house on the market, so hopefully they will have another sale. Not sure if they would do a buyout deal, offer a lumpsum and get the entire contents of the house. But then again, if one can't get into the basement to see what's there, you could be buying treasure or a room full of mold and mildew items. I wouldn't have guessed as a teenager that the mall of my youth would be no more, so happy to find pieces of history from it. The entire mall, besides the Kohls store, is torn down and piles of rubble. A warehouse will take its' place, no doubt. I still have my name badge and lanyard I wore at my first job there, my own "ephemera" of sorts.
I would have snatched the Beatles book in a heartbeat. Being the oddball I am, maybe Santa should be winking. How on earth can you accumulate that much stuff??? Glad you had a good time.
My cousin worked installation fire extinguisher in commercial buildings government buildings in the state of Minnesota. Made me think of him retired now. 40 plus yrs . Hard work . Shoulders shot to keep public safe . Great find
Wow! Did that home look like that while the owners lived there? Almost could qualify as a hoarder house. Imagine if you and Tony and Taco Stacks could wind up cleaning out the place!
Wow what a lot of amazing stuff in that estate sale. Yes Renee, you need to go back if they have more sales or better yet, offer a cleanout with Tony and Taco Stacks 😊 that would be a great bunch of videos 😊😊😊
I agree digging at sales is so much fun I will choose a sale with boxes of stuff before I go to one that is organized There was so much at the sale today, I think it would have taken me all day to scour that house 💜💖💚🇨🇦🦩 Stay Happy 💫✨🌟✨
Renee, there is nothing wrong with that Santa as long as you call him a winking Santa. As you know, winking Santa's, winking angels, winking elves, etc were a big thing with Japanese Christmas imports in the 50's. I didn't even know he was meant to have two open eyes until you said it and I would have no problem displaying him exactly as he is. You mentioned that the company was giving the shoppers a time limit. I am curious what that time limit was and whether or not you went back through a second time after you were forced to leave. I am surprised that the estate sale company was so quick to haggle that severely with people considering it was the very beginning of the sale and the company was going to be paid a percentage of the total sales. Thanks for sharing this fun digger sale experience!
About 18 people showed up for when they opened, so they let in around 10-12 of us. Some people walked in for only a few minutes and then left, so they let everyone else in. They did mention if they would have to do a time limit of shopping, it would have been around 20 minutes.
Hi Renee! Some of the faces you make are pure Gold! Looks to be some real spelunking to do once you get a bit further back in the unit. Those tarot cards Ive bought and sold but I've had several people tell me they they wouldn't buy someone else else's tarot cards. Bad JuJu I suppose Never heard of that before. More later. Cheers!! PS watching your views climbing on this one. Greatwork!! U done good!
What a rush! I was a dealer many years ago, everyplace from TN grocery store parking lots to Astro dome, costal So Cal flea market to Fredericksburg Va antique shop. This place took the cake! I was overwhelmed shopping with you, with time and movement constraints along with not knowing what the prices were you did a good job at finding things of interest fast. Was this a professional estate seller? It sure brings back memories. I never told you but when I first discovered you the intro had the moose on the leash, I always saw it as a gentleman’s pipe. It was your love of paper that caught my eye. Happy buying and selling! Tide pool Paula.
I would have gone bonkers in there! Way too much stuff in that place. You did very well. You've come a long way baby! I remember when you would get to overwhelmed in a place like that. I dont know how you found that little witch holding the pumpkin without really digging in there. I love ya!❤😘💞🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻✌️
For cleaning the santa, might try Pledge. I've used it on books, and photos with good results. Just try a small spot, spray it on a cloth, and gently rub it. Worth a try.
Love the items you were able to take home. I am like you at these filled homes, I am overwhelmed with all the items. As I watched you video, I was interested in the monkey plush sitting on the couch, it looks like Vintage Curious George Knickerbocker plush. So much good stuff to see. Amazing to think what is on the upper floors. Renee, Thanks for sharing . I had not heard of a diggers sale before so I will be on the look out for these moving forward. OMyGod Renee. I can not believe all that stuff in the cabinet's. And the doll's in that house. The collection is unbelievable. But for the thing's you found is amazing. I just love watching you find cool stuff any where you go. God Bless you Renee. Maybe you could return one day and find more cool stuff. Take care. HUGS 🤗❤️. Mari'a. ❤️🤗❤️🤗👍👍👍👍👍🌺🌹🌺💕💕💕💕
I'm happy Miss Moose didn't come across Jason from "Friday the 13th" on that spooky road.😱😱 When you yell at yourself, do you sometimes yell back?😊 I enjoyed all 27 minutes and 51 seconds! I rate this video 5🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺!
Thanks, Buzz! Good thing I didn't come across any radio spirits out there either! Sadly, I talk to myself much of the day... perhaps I can consider them work meetings! Haha
Wowza! Those were some tight quarters! Stuff everywhere, was this person a hoarder? Loved some of the pottery pieces. Especially the vase head, it wasn’t in the shape of a head, it just had the face painted on. Great pickings, Renee! ✌🏼❤️
Holy COW!!!! We very rarely if ever have sales like this in South Jersey! I dis see one last week in Linwood that was amazing! But unfortunately I couldn't go 😢
I see many listings for sales in towns like Toms River, but that's a bit of a drive for me. I'd have to probably go down the night before, stay overnight, so as not to be driving on the GSP at 3am :0)
That's a great digging sale Rene.🎉😮 You found some fantastic items for resale and your collection.🤯😍 I love the ashtray and the tobacco silks they're really desirable and collectables.🤔🤩 I was hoping you would get the Bond bread metal signs in the kitchen those are 💰 big money.😊 Take care.👍🔥❤️👌
@@PaperandMoose I believe that.🤔 Bond bread used to have baseball cards in the bread and the Jackie Robinson rookie card is very valuable and sought after.😍 Take care always.👍🔥❤️👌
If you ever think you have a lot of stuff, think again. I hope that the local fire department doesn’t see this video. When you look back at videos in your ‘golden years’, this one will be exhaustingly memorable. Your laugh was silenced by the overwhelming emotional shock of this hoard. Happy upcoming Halloween!
I waited that long because I thought the entire house & garage was open for shopping. When we were told it was only the first floor, stuck around that long, might as well stay & look. Glad I wasn’t one of the people that waited all that time only to find out that the item was pulled from the sale! 😬
Another shopper commented that things weren't dusty, which was true. There was a type of "film" on certain objects, especially the stuffed animals & dolls.
OMG! Overwhelmed isn't even even the word!!! I would go crazy, the pottery was amazing, so much stuff. I can only imagine what all else is in that house, it boggles the mind thinking about it. Santa looks like he is winking, so cute!
That's what I thought he was doing, didn't know the eye was missing.
All those dolls and teddy bears!! I wouldn’t have known where to look first. So much stuff! 🤩
Looking back when editing, I wish I would have taken more of a look at the dolls. The TY Beanie Babies kept getting in the way haha!
Wow, a lot of collectibles! Liked that everyone was friendy and polite while shopping. Nice finds and thanks for the video.
Nice finds!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Someone said Santa was blinking. I thought the same thing! 🧡🧡
Wow! Such great vintage treasures, but so overwhelming at the same time.

What a fun day digging! Are you sure Santa isn't just winking, instead of missing an eye? Great find just the same.
I thought he was winking, too! Paint on some Iashes under the eye and call it good.
Wow! That place was packed! When I go into places like that I make myself dizzy trying to look at everything. It's very overwhelming, for sure!
Holy mackerel was that house packed. Too bad Tony couldn’t get it as a clean out, you would be in heaven. Thanks for taking us along. Sad thing is, a builder will probably buy it and tear it down.
I NEED a digger sale like that.
That was fun! I would have gotten some composite dolls, but I suppose they were pricey. Good camera work for us.
The orange kitchen!! 🍊 🖤
IKR? That was some spactacular orangeness.
She should have picked up those cannisters 😔

So many awesome finds! It's hard to pick my favorite but I definitely love the Strawberry Shortcake mug and all of the Halloween goodies!! I would absolutely have to keep the mug :) I had a few Jem dolls when I was little too.

Hi, Great diggers delight sale...interesting Holiday pieces and memorabilia. Cool video
Hope for you they have another sale so you can get more great stuff! Christmas!

How on earth can you accumulate that much stuff??? Glad you had a good time.
That was only the first floor! We were told they couldn't even walk in the basement it was that filled.
What did they want for the Beatle Book and The Annie Doll???
This was amazing! What a collection. Hopefully they will bring things downstairs from the second floor and have another sale. Thanks for sharing.
Great sale! Hope they open it up even more and continue to get rid of stuff!

Wowwww i would L❤VE to dig a sale like that!! 😮
You scored! So many cool items. ❤😊
Very fun diggers delight 😊
Time to call your buy out buddy to see if he can make a deal for upstairs and downstairs❣️🤗💖🦋
Awww...🫂💐 Re Phillipsburg Mall it's o.k. to be in the feels. It's always heartwrenching to witness our past being eradicated, but memories live on! 💕
That’s an amazing collection of goodies,💰💰💰💰💰👍🏻👍🏻👏🇬🇧🤠
I thought Santa was winking. 😊
You should offer to do a clean out for them.
Plastic on the furniture, haven't seen that in forever.😆
That was fun! Thanks!
There were two plastic idina figures from the 40 that you past, my mom 91, playedwith them as a child in first room of video
Look at all of that Halloween 🎃 and pottery. I would go bananas in there. What a fun treasure hunt.
> I was nervous that I would knock something over and break it, and I was watching from my tablet!
Wow! Did that home look like that while the owners lived there? Almost could qualify as a hoarder house. Imagine if you and Tony and Taco Stacks could wind up cleaning out the place!
Definitely more than almost!
Who's Tony??
Wow what a lot of amazing stuff in that estate sale. Yes Renee, you need to go back if they have more sales or better yet, offer a cleanout with Tony and Taco Stacks 😊 that would be a great bunch of videos 😊😊😊
OH MY WORD !!!
That is what I call true dedication Renae wow this place was insane.
I saw a Rosbro scarecrow candy container I so wanted to grab! Fun sales and you got some cool things.

That Santa 🎅 is awesome ! The lack of an eye adds some character.
I would take an Ikea bag to make it easier to carry stuff while you shop, this was a good one. hope they have future sales and you get to go to them
I do have an IKEA bag, just the fabric version. The blue plastic ones make too much noise & that noise is easily picked up by the camera.
For cleaning the santa, might try Pledge. I've used it on books, and photos with good results. Just try a small spot, spray it on a cloth, and gently rub it. Worth a try.
You didn't pick up the Nazareth speedway bumper sticker, I was yelling at you through the computer! Haha
Didn't even see it until I was edited... I yelled at myself too!
You pick almost the same type of items I do.. Some good finds
lots of good stuff left behind
Would be a great clean out for you and Tony!!!😊😊😊
Wow! What a fun sale! Wouldn't it be great if you guys could do a cleanout?! If only.......Thanks for taking us along. ;)
I enjoy my things and I live the hunt BUT when you have that much how can you even enjoy it? Is go crazy shopping though! Lol
Where do you even sit down when you want to rest on the couch? "Move on over dolly, I need to sit for a little" haha :0)
Wow so many items!
It’s easy to look on this side of the camera, but being there in person, it’s hard! Mind boggling!
