I'm a mere 196cm (6'5" in freedom units) but I heartily endorse the BMW 3 series reccomendation. My usual process in a car is cram in, pull lever, jam seat as far back as it possibly goes - the 3 series is the only car I've driven where I go "huh, this doesn't feel safe" and move forward a few clicks afterwards. Part of it is a really low seat bucket adjustment that gets your knees past the wheel. I really liked the Tiguan because you can fit two car seats in the back for kids. Not a good idea in a 3 series.
I am 6'7" and the best car I ever had that I fit in perfectly was the 2013 VW Passat. I could move my driver seat all the way back, have MORE than enough leg room and could sit comfortably behind that driver seat.
I'm 6"6' (198 cm) and fit quite well into my Audi A4 Avant 2014 (B8 generation) with auto/S-tronic. Leg space is plenty, and with sport seats (which is a must) you have adjustable thigh support which is great if you have long legs. Only problem I find is that the rear view mirror is placed a bit too low so it's kinda blocking my vision there, have to bow my head down a bit to see below it when driving past pedestrian crossings etc. Maybe a Tiguan a Q5 would solve that...
I used Chat GPT to compare internal dimensions of cars. Skoda Kodiak is more spacious than the Tiguan. Infact, the Kodiak looks deceptive. It's internal dimensions are surprisingly more than cars like Fortuner, MG Gloster etc
Im 6'10 and have a kodiaq and am very comfortable, knees don't touch the wheel at all, not cramped, freedom of movement etc That said it's quite a "high" set position compared to the pedals. Nice to feel high on the road, but results in knee bend just based on the position of the seat. Ie not the dream scenario sedan where your knee bend angle is minimal (because your legs would be straighter) Depends what you like!
If you're tall and broke in North America, try the 2013-2018 Ford C-Max Hybrid. If you're tall, broke, have a small garage, and need to occasionally carry 7 passengers, try the 2006-2010 Kia Rondo.
It would be awesome to pull the reported measurements of these vehicles and then say "hey, an F-150 has this leg room, this head room, and this hip room. These are models with those same measurements. "
As a new driver at 6'11 I couldnt get into many cars due to insurance however, the mazda 3 tamura 2013 is the car I chose. Despite my knees being up the side of the steering wheel is surprisingly comfortable lol. Love it.
6.1 and 300 lbs...... driving a 2012 chev impala that has the seat same height as the console so right knee can rest comfortably and it works but cannot find anything new. Looking for new sedan or even suv that works. Any suggestions for 2023 - 2024 or 5
6.5 myself and my daily driver was a 09 Honda Civic Type S and it was amazing fit wise. I fit perfectly people behind me fit perfectly so it's a great and affordable choice 😁 plus a blast to drive
would love to see a vid on the best cars for short people lol...maybe 5' and under...but IDK if it'd be helpful because people well below average or with dwarfism just modify their car as far as i know
I'm 6'4 tall, and the I've been driving a VW Touareg for the last 7 years. The best car i ever owned! Comfortable leg space in the driver seat, and plenty of head clearance. Ample leg space in the back seats as well, even when I move the driver seat all the way to the back. I tried many cars and nothing feels as comfortable as the Touareg for me.
Small tall??? 1,80m?? That's below average height in Europe! 1,85m is average in North West Europe. Tall is all above 6,4. Those are the small talls ... 6,5 and above may call themselves tall. 1,80m... My girlfriend is taller..
😮😮I am 15 inches shorter than my husband. His F-150 truck is impossible for me to drive. He can sorta drive my Kia Sorento. We are looking for that impossible vehicle that we can both drive. It’s hard to believe we met ball room dancing.
As a 6’6” American the list was hugely unhelpful, but I love the premise. Great work

Try a Skoda Karoq
May I ask which generation of 3-series you are refering to?
@@Pallareggadetta 6th gen, but I think any of the last 3 have the same approximate seating situation.
Well it really depends how you are proportioned. I am 195cm and I can't sit upright in a 3er. Long spine, tiny legs.
That is an awesome video! I am 196cm (almost 6'5") and appreciate this content.
Is there a way to add more length to a telescoping wheel past its full extension for tall drivers?

lol … here I am 6’7 looking for suggestions to replace a 2013 Passat
So what are the cars
I'm 6'10 and had a big challenge finding an affordable car, I found a 2012 Chevy Impala and I fit fairly well.
@brandonborden8814 cool
Yes the Impala is the only vehicle I found with adequate legroom
im confused was this an advertisement? for data viz

@Atxlew I’m glad you found something you fit in
Thanks for this video! I'm 203cm looking for my first car so it's really helpful
What did you buy?
If you are in Europe go and try seat Leon coupe (sc) no sunroof model
Can you please make the same for continental Europe? 😞

Very useful thanks friend.
This is very very helpful! I'm 6'7 and am trying to find my first car
Did you find something?
amazing video and great quality
Was the Tiguan you bought a automatic or manual?
Automatic - my brain couldn't handle focussing on the road and the gears

Maybe for you dutch people, but the average european man is 1.80m in height
Imagine calling yourself tall at 1.83 🤣
