20cm is about 8 inches which is the size of the baking pan that I used for this recipe. You can use 24cm but cake layers will be thinner so use only 2 baking pans if you use 24cm. Use 3 if you use 20cm.

Hi Chef Rose, your carrot cake recipe is to die for♥️...I did have a problem with the cream cheese frosting..It was sooo runny, despite adding a cup more to the 1.5 c icing sugar. I ended up adding 5 more cups of icing sugar... What seemed to be the problem - could it be that the whipping cream was chilled? Thnx.
Maybe your whipping cream is not cold enough OR maybe you did not whip it long enough to firm up. It starts out runny and as you whip, the cream thickens up. Please watch the video again to refresh. Glad to know that you liked my carrot cake. Thank you for watching!
Grated cheese is added to the cake mixture NOT to the frosting. Cream Cheese is added to the frosting. I added the grated cheese to the cake mixture at 4:30 (time stamp). Fail akoa cream cheese frosting chef.. runny xa.. I think na overmix nako, how to fix it? I tried to put it on the freezer for an hour but still runny. 😭
Your cream has to be cold. Beat with the wire whip of your mixer. The mixture will come together after a few minutes. Pleaser watch the video again in case you missed any portion. Good luck!

Honestly u supposed to use 1 pan only, the way u did yours , u must know how much batter goes per pan an every1 dont know how much batter goes per pan
I used 3 baking pans in the video. I did not weigh the batter. I just divided them into 3 portions by just eye balling them.
