■Introduction
西暦5012年。
突如地球へと飛来してきた＜エイリアン＞と、彼らが生み出した＜機械生命体＞により、人類は絶滅の危機に陥った。
月へと逃げのびた僅かな人類は、地球奪還のため、＜アンドロイド＞の兵士を用いた反攻作戦を開始。

が悶絶するぐらい各所に設定がちらほら散りばめられているのでやってみてもいいかも知れませんね。今は配信者さんが配信してたりもするので、
それを見てもいいかもしれません。
ニーアオートマタのいい所って知った後と知る前で感じ方が大きく変わる所です。知れば知るほど味が出るジャーキーみたいな感じでなかなか面白いですよ。
命にふさわしいが感情を持つ事を後悔してるようだけど、アンチノミーは感情を持つことを肯定してるかのよう、どちらも良い

amazarashiとニーアオートマタのファンからすると感動する😭
ニーアオートマタの世界観をわかってないと書けない歌詞、なのにamazarashiの世界観とも共通してて昔からamazarashiが普通に歌ってるように思えてくるのが不思議。

世界観ピッタリだし、映像も素晴らしい
歌詞の内容がすごいアニメ見てる人に向けてるようでもあり9Sと2Bに語ってるようにも見えるのほんと好き
amazarashiというチョイスが流石です。
どんな物語か知ってるから余計に鳥肌もんだわ。最後の「ヨルハ」ってコーラス入ってるのもなんかグッと来ます。

あんな必死になって9Sへ走る2Bの姿が好きすぎて、辛すぎて、苦しい。泣きそう、でも好き。
「感情は持たないでくださいそれがあってはこの先きっと辛すぎる」って歌詞がこの作品の全てを物語ってるように感2Bは感情を持つことは禁止されてると言ってるけどどんどん9sに対して想いをつのらせて言って最後には苦しく悲惨な結末になるって言うのを物語ってる
9Sの笑顔とか、全て2B視点で見てると思うと胸がキュッと締め付けられる。。

As a fan of the game and its characters, this ending almost made me cry of both happiness and sadness.

2B is the only one who really loves him a lot. Vice versa. They are the OTP.
There's 21O, 9S' Operator; but 21O cares for him like a son or little brother. It's quite cute tbh.
There's another one, but honestly, I don't want to reveal them yet. It's an end-game spoiler. They have been spying on him for so long, and one weapon story kinda describes them too. This is just speculation though and peronally I don't like it because it's so creepy and weird.

Was talking about N2, aka Red Girls. They like stalking 9S for so long now. In the side material (Bunker Diary, I think), 9S keeps having feelings that he's being watched, but dismisses after some time. Even in Route B, Red Girls are stalking in the background.
Virtuous Grief weapon story kinda alludes to them if you read into it. In the side material, Lies (Pascal/2B), N2 was pretending to be Operator 6O just to torment 2B about 9S figuring out her true designation and saying that 9S must have hated her so much.
There's also a bit where the suspicious timing of Tower shows up when 2B dies. Giving 9S presents in those recovery units like YoRHa information. They keep torturing him in Route C. And finally, changing their mind in favor of leaving the Ark from Earth because of 9S' actions if you refer to the Ending D.
That's all that I can think about. This whole thing is just where I got from other people from forums. Hell, I don't like typing this, tbh. N2 is just so weird that I don't even want to talk about the speculation of them having so much interest on 9S just because he's quite unique.
Take this as you will. Don't dwell on it too much on this giant speculation.

ed映像と､曲がすごく合っていて、最高。曲と、ed映像何回も見ると涙がでてくる。せつなすぎる…。最初見て、見終わった後に、涙腺が、もたなくて、涙がでてた。
Ngl , i got goosebump when i hear this ed amazarashi song is really top tier and suited for this anime , you get all the feelings mixed hope ,sad , calm,heart warming and other emotions are all packed in this ending song. So excited to see how's the anime will go. As someone who really love nier series , everytime i loop this song i got all the flashback thats enough to make my tears start falling. All I can say is thank you for delivering this music as ending for automata anime as its really mark up all the feelings you will get in the anime.
For those who still never play this hidden gem game/ nier series , you guys should try it at least once as the very first time you play it , you will get tons of magnificent music which even if you dont understand it you can feel it and ofc once in lifetime experience that can't be described with words and wont be the same even if you play again and again and you wont find it in other games or even in anime.
Its truly rollercoaster of emotions and by far for me its best jrpg story. There's both easy and hard mode which really help if normal difficulty is either too hard / not challenging.

I'm really happy thanks to nier automata's success yoko Toro and the series has become well known to the general public to the point the release of the original nier game with replicant sold over 1 million copies and gained very positive feedback.

@@ElbertoDiaries it's a good start so far I know fans of the game will be very judgmental on it based on how acclaimed it was but from what I've seen it's been positive I hope they can keep up this momentum.
if someone can't play it (some people just can't do the whole gaming thing) watching playthroughs is a great alternative. I personally do both, as in play games I can play (Automata included), but watch games I can't play (almost any type of horror like fatal frame). Nier A and Fatal frame 2 and 4 are some of my favorite games ever now :D

amazarashiさんの歌も最高に合ってる…
命にふさわしい の「心さえなかったなら」とアンチノミーの「感情は持たないでください」は似たような意味だけど、アンチノミーでは感情を持ってはいけない理由を明言して、未然に防ごうとしている言葉遣いであるあたり、論理的に行動をする2B達アンドロイドの視点なんだろうなって感じた。
それと対比するように「心さえなかったなら」と感情を持ってしまったことを既に後悔しているような物言いは、MVでもあるようにパスカル達も含む機械生命体の視点。
この2曲の歌詞をそれぞれ見比べた時に色んな部分が対になっていて面白い..やっぱりamazarashiさん最高です😊

歌詞をよく見たら分かる。
これかなり心に来ますよね。
ニーアオートマタにピッタリ。主要キャラの3人の心情にもマッチしてる。
フルバージョン聴いたけど、やっぱり2Bと9Sの歌なんだなぁ...
2Bが9Sへやらなければならないある事、9Sが2Bへ抱く口にはできない感情。
それに加えて昼の世界と夜の世界で分裂した世界が舞台のこの作品で、「壊れた夜は」と「ヨルハ」、「壊レタ世界ノ歌」を掛け合わせてみせたこの歌詞は本当に天才としか言いようがない。
命にふさわしいの時もそうだったけど、amazarashiさんの世界観と、ニーアの世界観は雰囲気が似た香りを放っていて
作品を知っているとじわじわと沁みてくるのがなんとも味わい深い…
序盤の感情を殺した様な棒読みな感じが好きだわ。そこから上がっていくのも好き

I hope that the anime can get the popularity it deserves and I also hope that the anime can do what Cyberpunk Edgerunners did for Cyberpunk. What I mean is I hope that the anime can get so popular that people get interested in the video game and a lot more people try to play Nier Automata :)

the first time i heard *amazarashi* is when i watched 86 cour2, i immediately got hooked with their op song. and now they're doing the the ed song for NieR, i'm so happy hearing them again. there is something about this band that pull the strings to your heart. 😌

@@amaurypiette6932 Oh, really? Thank you for your comment, but for me I can hear "Kowareta YoRHa". It's a little bit hard to identify what this line says because of the echoed voice, but I concluded so listening to the full version of the song on Spotify.
If your comment "The end of..." has the official reference, I really appreciate your sharing that. Otherwise, I'd like to wait for others' opinions for that...

I was bummed at first that the show intro/outro don't feature Emi Evans, but these tracks are so incredibly catchy. The Yo Ru Ha at the end gives me goosebumps everytime I hear it.

Damn 2B running at the same time the full beat drops really grazed my heart. I think the anime is trying to emphasizes more on their relationship. In the game, only 2B's feeling was shown in less vague manner because she almost left a message saying "Kare ni suki", while 9S is much more complex than that. The Drakengard Nier series were conveying messages much more philosophical than mere romances, but maybe that's too heavy for a casual anime watchers.

I'm trying to guess what things Yoko Taro changed in the future episode. Only 8 out by the time I'm writing this, others are postponed. Don't forget that there's rumor that he changed it so much that the anime team were trying to stop him, worried that the fans won't appreciate it lmao.
One of my speculations is that in the anime 9S is the one who will die "permanently", marking 2B as the clear main character.
Remember that in Drakengard Nier lore, everything is canon due to the existence of multiple timelines. Yoko Taro also said multiple times that the only "real" canon is the player/watcher's headcanon, every new information that dropped before and after that are treated as happening in separated timelines.
2024 The opening clip for Season 2 of the anime Nier Automaton is exactly the same, but in place of 2B is 9S.
