- We've all heard of them. Stitch Fix, GQ Box, Nordstrom Rack's Trunk Club. They come in all shapes and sizes and I decided to do the ultimate test with all of them. So buckle up for 23 minutes of me opening up these shocking subscription boxes.

I agree boxes are OK for young people who don't have a lot of stuff and are unsure what they like. I was really happy to get 1 box with a tie and pocket square that made me go a bit out of my normal style. But as soon as I got multiple crap items it became a burden
I think that's why I'm gravitated towards trying it out a tiny bit. Young and unsure😅

Good video but it seemed like you came into certain boxes like GQ predetermined to rate it better (i.e. saying you like the GQ wallet and watch after saying you didnt want either beforehand)

That BREDA watch is $135 by itself… GQ box seems to be the best deal
It’s more likely it’s like outlet malls: the make a lower quality, cheaper version for the box.

Tried stitchfix....clothes are OK but I never heard of the brands and the style is for emo hippies...Nordstrom trunk club was expensive but excellent,..after 4 trunks, got my whole wardrobe covered thanks for the video
I did stitch fix as well. There were a few items I kept, but 80%+ were some style I didn't like at all, didn't fit at all, or when I did really love it. They sent stuff 2x as expensive as what I requested in the site.
Example: I would say I don't want to spend more than $50 on a shirt, they'd send one that was $80. Or no more than $100 for a jacket. They'd send one almost $200. Got so annoying I canceled the service.

Great idea, now just because guys don't shop often don't mean their cheap lol.... Miss us with the habber dash. 1st ask how much a guy wants to spend each month.... 2and what's his thing ( could be Tom Ford to Jordan's) .... I'm into the 5finger shoes ... Could be hobbies _ I'm into art..... Faber Castell to Copic ... 3rd get the how when and were right. Some men like the current fashion, some guys buy outta season to save extra money (T .J. mazx)......i would like to get things this way but I would have to pick my own ..... I trust me

The ONLY good I see with some of these boxes is the fact you don't have to go to the store. But, heck you can shop at the box store websites for that. If you can't save any money it's not worth it to me. $300 box is ridiculous.

They sent a BLENDERS eyeglass case?! Wtf. Blenders is a company that sells unique, cheap glasses. I've ordered from them before. They aren't horrible, but I've determined they're just another company that uses Chinese manufacturing to get cheap shit and then sell it to you for a high margin and try to win you over with "cool" advertising. I swear 90% of these companies are scams. And if Sprezza is sending you a BLENDERS eyeglass case then that's worth like $1.

Most of these brands you can find in Ross for way cheaper save yourself the money.
See I hate the boxes where they charge you a monthly fee and on top of that you have to pay if you want to keep the clothes. How about you charge me whatever you think you should for the monthly box and then I just keep what's inside there.

Thank you for the trouble and expense of buying all these boxes! If I may venture a suggestion: throw away those cheap watches and ties and don't let anyone see you wear them. :D Especially the watches. If a box is $39...50, the "watch" must be... what... $5 worth? Do I need to say more? Maybe we should get together and I will teach you about good watches.
Don't use any "colognes" from subscriptions either, but *do* save them as mosquito repellents.
Footwear: I don't expect much quality from those subscription boots and shoes. I bet you'd get "genuine" leather at most and pleather (plastic leather) at worst. Thursday set a pretty high bar with their quality-to-price ratio.
My verdict: t-shirts, Henleys and stuff --- those boxes are ok. For anything "business casual" --- no good, burn them!
