just subscribed to your channel! first video was the condor. what a great experience you must of had there. played some SOLID golf man! your tee game is great and so are those irons! ill be watching closely!
I get for someone of your talent, a tap in par isn't what you want but for the majority of your viewers it is a dream (including me who plays to around 15). Just think you shouldn't belittle those scores with how you describe them. I watch cause i love the content, coming from watching my friend in the trilby tour which we know you won. I will keep watching of course.
Does make me chuckle how it looks like your smashing the ball but its controlled. You can see the talent with swinging that fast. Well played on the round overall
Thanks Loz. It’s a fair point, I guess it’s all about person expectations, I well remember the days of fist pumping pars so will make sure I keep that in mind in the future. As for hitting it hard, you are right, have tried to slow my tempo down before and it never seems to work 😂🤷🏼♂️
@@SebOnGolf oh totally wasn't asking for celebrating a par, just meant tap in pars usually mean you're playing well so tick a hole off with them shouldn't be sniffed at. Fair comments, will still be watching the new videos 👍
Loved this course, played it many a time and managed under 100 once, 94. Some 20 years ago. The Burnside, second of three courses there was much better for my standard and less of a slog but still challenging.
Such a great video seb they just keep getting better, felt as though I was playing with u 😂 unlucky not to get the 1 under but still a great performance 👍⛳️
R. Lytham and St.Annes & R. St. George’s also Open venues are much harder. I played all 3 in 2005 at 60 years of age. 78 at Carnoustie 85’s at the other 2….6 marker from Australia
Playing the ‘easy’ tees changes the golf course massively back tees would have seen more rough and possibly more bunkers. Still very well played Foward tees and light wind. Is a fair par 71/72 Back tees and stronger wind is a gruelling par 71/72 playing par 78
In answer to what is the hardest course I’ve played. I’m from the USA and have been fortunate to play in Scotland and Ireland on three separate golf trips and played the major courses in both countries. I’ve played Carnoustie twice one time in a stiff wind which was very challenging. I can say that the three finishing holes of Carnoustie are the toughest stretch I’ve ever played for sure especially into a stiff wind. The toughest course I’ve ever played any where is… Royal County Down, which I played in early July 2018 when it was extraordinarily dry. The day I played it had winds of around 10 mph with gusts to around 15mph. Because they had no rain for a long stretch the fairways were hard and fast and the ball ran into the rough on most holes. Brutal course… extremely difficult. Although it’s one of my favorite courses in the area.
You are in the right ball park, but without the +. Lol! Sadly my ball striking and distance keep me from kicking on at this point. Exact is 3.6 currently
Don’t think so, most of our tees were behind where the women’s open will play from this week and I definitely remember they where on 12 as it was just to our left
I played Carnoustie just months after me picking up a golf club…. Shot 84!!! To be fair I shoot that about most courses as I play for level 5s 😂😂 16/18 is a slog tho! Really enjoyed the video
@@SebOnGolf I’m going back in two weeks so will be interesting to see what I shoot! Played the Renaissance and shot 79….. but then I played north Berwick and was 89 🧐
What is the hardest course you guys have played?
Shrigley Hall championship course is such a test, have you played?
Mr Mulligans Pirate golf in Milton Keynes
Southwold 18 hole putting green Suffolk ........ shocking conditions but managed a 32 ... one of the best this year apparently,,,,
@Andy Keys 🤣
Ko'olau in Oahu Hawaii and Bethpage Black in New York
Well played round Carnoustie, really enjoyed your commentary on top on the play giving us an insight as to what was going through your shot selection.
Thanks Craig, that was the plan so glad you enjoyed it
Need to get out and golf more but I think I just found a new favorite channel. Shoutout to Spencer for pushing your channel
Welcome Shane! I hope you enjoy! 👊🏻
Played it in march - will be watching this again a few times in the coming weeks

Thanks so much mate. Great to have you on board
I live in dundee just a bit from carnoustie..I must say that was entertaining and informative,,,well done
Love it! Not even some pros get level par!
To be fair to them wind was very gentle for me, and they probably play it a little longer but I won’t grumble!
Love it Sebby, really like that pink jumper. Keep the great content up!
Thanks mate!
Coming up here and making our courses look rather easy Seb... nicely done👏
Having a calm wind definitely helped! Wouldn’t fancy those last few holes in a stiff breeze!
Absolutely love this course vlog format Seb. The course map and commentary add so much. Oh, and well played!
Thanks Jonny, much appreciated
Sebby boy been waiting for this absolutely gassed to watch my home course!
So good to meet you mate. Next video will have your shot from the next day in!
the perfect content exactly when needed - love it!
Thanks for the support Stan!

Will have to give that a try next time I come up!
Great video , love this format and well played . What shoes are you wearing please love the look of them
adidas golf superstars! They are class!
Still got to be proud of that, Sebby. Great round, especially after first one back. Nice one.
Thanks Nick!

Such a great video seb they just keep getting better, felt as though I was playing with u 😂 unlucky not to get the 1 under but still a great performance 👍⛳️
Thanks Jack, wait till you see Turnberry next!
First video I’ve seen of yours absolutely loved it, some lovely golf also!
Thank you Dixon, welcome to the channel!
I wanted to see the engraving for Jean Van De Velde at the Barry Burn on the 18th. Awesome playing, though. It's Car-nasty for a reason!
Top stuff Sebbie, made the course look easy!

What a player 👏
The conditions helped for sure!
@@SebOnGolf true
You, sir, are a bloody bandit off 3 handicap 🤣🤣🤣😱
my favourite course of all courses....i was lucky to play it in fairly good conditios in May...out in 2 over but the back 9 killed me
It’s a beast
Excellent video.
I recently watched your video about playing augusta, is carnoustie as tough as augusta?
This course must be so amazing to play 😮
Playing the ‘easy’ tees changes the golf course massively back tees would have seen more rough and possibly more bunkers. Still very well played
Foward tees and light wind. Is a fair par 71/72

great round. hope you put your score in for your WHI :)
After watching the whole video I have to say very well played , nothing to be embarrassed about finishing bogey bogey at carnoustie
I was gutted at the time, but in reflection delighted with the score. Thanks for watching!
Awesome video great golf as well 👍
Thanks James

Great golf. Do you put the scores in for your WHI? What was the slope?
Sadly the ones in Scotland are not eligible which is frustrating when I shoot a decent score.
@@SebOnGolf That was a real shame. Shows how crap this worldwide system is then. Would have been a big slope.
Love it as usual
👊🏻☺️
Nice round - "THE FINGERS OUT" 🤣
Love a walk in!
@@SebOnGolf and we love to see them LEGEND
Hi seb. What’s the handicap? Surely it’s got to be +3/4. Some quality golf there and the driver is on fire
You are in the right ball park, but without the +. Lol! Sadly my ball striking and distance keep me from kicking on at this point. Exact is 3.6 currently
@@SebOnGolf really surprised by this. You’ll be getting close to scratch soon if you continue the way you played on this video.
Don’t listen to yourself bro ya did great 👍
Thanks Dave
A lot of those tees were forward of the yellows
12th & 14th looked like they were on forward tees?
Don’t think so, most of our tees were behind where the women’s open will play from this week and I definitely remember they where on 12 as it was just to our left
@@SebOnGolf OK sorry. Imagine playing the course of the very back tees? That would deffo make a good vid.

Very hard to focus on multiple things on a course, I think he did a great job
