The reason these things are forbidden and guarded and are so threatening is because their findings include escape plans to exit the matrix. The ancients didn't just all disappear, but became as one of the gods that rule us today.

There are more than one Emerald Tablets. There are 15 of them. One is on display at Cambridge in the UK called the Tablet of Hermes. The rest are in the Vatican Archive.

There are translations of the tablets available except the last 2 or 3, i forget. Because they are too powerful. If one meditates and asks, you should not need the tablets at all. This is a commitment to a daily practice though, some days, hours of meditation. No one is going to just receive this knowledge because they can play Mario 16 hours straight and beat the game. As if its a prize for being lazy... It requires absolute dedication for your whole life and almost every second of your life must be presented as evidence you are worthy.
