I feel like I've stumbled upon a goldmine of the most gorgeous gems. Thanks for making my day FarmInAfrica--my week, my month. Fantastic production value too. FYI, the second half of this track, Mark transitions into the equally sublime "Void". So go "Find another corner of the house, when you need to get away" to rediscover these songs again.
this is great, who bootlegged it? saw MK at this venue a couple times, I think Mark walked to the venue for one of the shows, nothing like seeing Mark play in the Tenderloin in SF.
early in his career he would over-enunciate his vocals, then by 2003 he had adopted this more passive, slurry delivery reminiscent of his idol Neil Young. i miss his early vocal style, it served his poetry well to let us hear each syllable.
@@coldshakey i honestly feel like the slurring adds to it - the unreality of it all and the feeling he's conveying. His poetry in musical form is as incomplete as the universe he sees around him.
That transition in Void is breathtaking.
Such beauty. God, I love Mark.
Having music like this makes life just a bit easier, doesn't it?
A little late to the reply, but yes it sure does
Absolutely and wonderful too
I'd better stop having often goosebumps as listening Mark& The Painters music 🎶

That's amazing
Even though it's been a long time, i don't suppose you have the original bootleg? If you do see this comment, I'd be happy to know.
Swag
Could you post the lyrics to this, pretty please?
Why is this cut?!
Leads into another song I think?

I’m guessing he’s articulating his words poetically for them to flow as intended… but not to everyone’s taste possibly and that’s ok 👍
