The psychedelic music and cinematography combined is truly mezmerizing! Love this piece to bits.
These shots are not what you typically see in ski films. like EVER. The angles and perspectives Joonas took with this and the direction. its pure artistic genius. Thank god someone did it differently/ and the subjects are all mic'd up. Can actually hear them
The first 6 Minutes are just ski heaven. Cinematography and sounddesign are creating such a deep and real feeling. LOVE IT
The perspectives that this was filmed from sets it apart from all the other traditional ski films. Bravo
Would the Sherpas Cinema be considered traditional ? All i Can and INto the Mind are the finest ski movies ever made.
At the time i'm watching this, there's already 7 people unliking this video.... These 7 people probably never seen snow, because this is ski heaven. Amen!
Maybe they just don't like this "spiritualism" and "mysticism" that seems so popular when narrating these movies. can't we just keep it simple ?

I don't have near the skills of those guys but Black Crows clothes are really nice. Just came back from a holiday in the Alps and had my BC jacket and it was super good. Was so happy with it that I just ordered the black crows pants too. Oh, and really hats off to those skiers in the video.

A bit disappointed to see they just reused his and made it worse...
I like Black Crows but the editing here is 10 times worse...
Edit: If you want me to be constructive (and a bit mean): It's like a 15 year old teen took his favourite ski clips, found some royalty free music, and made his first video compilation. Come on, you can do better guys :)
A lot of people will never notice this because they have never seen the original footage, but there are those of us that knows...
Edit2: The intro was great, Shaffers voice awesome, music went from nice to meh to ugh and any "story" was ripped apart and put out of context.. and apparently Mattila did all the camerawork here, I'm pretty sure that's not true, but either way I'm surprised he redid this to be worse than his first work(s), doesn't make sense to me
It's almost like someone tried to make an urban film but forgot it's big mountain footage???
Or mixed together 3 great colours for effect but forgot to be careful and it ended up being a brownish mess
