Matty Healy truly is the best in the business right now. It’s funny when you hear other artists talk about him, everyone holds him in such high praise, a genius for sure.
I absolutely loved hearing Lewis talk about Matty, as one fan to another. Cuz he totally gets it, he totally gets who Matty is in a world where a lot of ppl are hating on him cuz they just don't get who he is. And it's always so great to hear other musician's thoughts on Matty and the band
Lewis Capaldi has to be the most impressive, honest person I have ever seen interviewed. He even talking makes me feel like watching Bob Ross, as far as artist. Although Lewis is more impressive at his art
It's only now, on the eve of Lewis' Netflix special, and after listening to "How I'm Feeling Now", that I can really appreciate this interview. "We hold you there", along with hearing Lewis say that this isn't a full time doom and gloom pronouncement on his life and career, makes total sense and is pretty reassuring. What a prequel to what's now and what's about to happen. Thanks, Zane. (kind of scared to watch the Netflix show because wow, triggering? Scary thought since yeah, we all suffer, and I don't need to sink any further into that pit, but god, you just have to love this guy, it's impossible not to. You really got it right, Z, thanks again)
I loved listening to Lewis Capaldi on this interview. I’ve listened to hours & hours of his interviews over the last 4 years, this is my favorite. Great job! Thank you!
That guy needs to let Lewis finish what he is saying and what he's trying to express.. that guy needs to frigging shut up...its a Lewis interview...not that guy...
Thank you, I felt that too. Maybe it was nervous energy because Lewis was sitting directly in front of him.. but I felt like he was a bit annoying.. lol
Zane! Why didn't you llet him talk!! Crikey! You did not do this dance well at all. Lewis is amazing to listen to! Why did you take that away from him and us? You interrupted him constantly and your interjection and sage advice? please.
He was ridiculous in this interview. Lewis was on great form too but was habitually interrupted by Lowe. Annoying. Obviously fancies himself as some some of psychological guru but it’s mainly claptrap
I always saw it as Lowe wanting to create the atmosphere of a conversation much rather than an interview. Not everyone likes this style, but I think it creates a nice environment.
After watching Sam smiths interview this is good but disappointing , the interview being 1to1 allows there to be a connection and get deep in conversation rather than having the "lads" round , like is there really a need to have another 4 people in the shot
omg! I feel the same way. He drove me nuts with all his directing the spotlight on himself and giving all this "sage insight and advice". That was crazy making for me.
I just watched his Hozier interview and he does the same 🤣 I understand it's a conversation but a lot of times the guest is speaking and building an idea or sentence and he cuts then off and introduces something about himself, always trying to draw back the attention to himself without circling back to what the guest was sharing, I wonder if he realizes he does this T_T

Definitely underrated lyricist
matty scares me 😭
please see a doctor
He's a dead good lyricist but good god his stage presence is annoying
@@ohwelljamie Who’s better?

we need a video of both lewis and matty in the same room
I love Lewis Capaldi sure wish he got to actually talk more in this interview.

thanks for the love
"Loving is accepting someone that you truly despise" Lewis Capaldi
😂😂😂😂😂
18:10 The part about The 1975 if anyone is looking for it from the title
i like how lewis stays cool when he is interrupted then he interrupts the person that interrupted him
his personality is just relaxing
Just love listening to the tone of Lewis' speaking voice. Such a lovely voice.
lewis's singing is so good and raw makes me cry fr
I love Lewis because he is so relatable to everyone. ❤️

Lewis Capaldi Is such a sweetheart
I loved listening to Lewis Capaldi on this interview. I’ve listened to hours & hours of his interviews over the last 4 years, this is my favorite. Great job! Thank you!
That energy matching in the beginning, Zane never ceases to amaze for sure 🔥🔥🔥
Lewis can charm anyone! He is so cute ❤
Brilliant interview. Love Lewis and Matty
Why does the interviewer talks more than Lewis??? Badly done!
big respect for his honest, loved this chat
dunno about intimate conversation when there's four random dudes standing in the bg the whole time
Love this guy. He’s great!
What are all those people doing there in the room?
That guy can talk
And I ain’t talkin’ about LC 😮
I like his shirt! Greatest singer of our time.
I thought this was an interview about Lewis, not Zane ? 😩
You should let your guest talk.
zane brings out the best in all the people he interviews...it truly is a gift he's developed over the year. Capaldi is great as well
Gold! Love this interview. Lewis and pop music 🎶
Zane is great! Love the guy! Would love to have his job!
Well done Lewis you take care xx
Your brave and strong, just like a true Scot.
I ❤ Lewis Capaldi ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
PLEASE give me Ed’s reaction
Realizing we are the united consciousness of the universe will set you free learn to tune into the vibrations and appreciate life

RIGHT
Too much talking from the DJ not enough of Lewis
Thank you, I felt that too. Maybe it was nervous energy because Lewis was sitting directly in front of him.. but I felt like he was a bit annoying.. lol
nah no way. zane lowe is the best in the business.

“Love is just accepting someone that you truly despise” Bruh
Anybody know the name of the guy in the checked flannel shirt to Lewis Capaldi's right? 😁
I really would prefer it if Zane talked a lot less 😖😖
I thought the conversation flowed perfectly fine, great interview.
He was ridiculous in this interview. Lewis was on great form too but was habitually interrupted by Lowe. Annoying. Obviously fancies himself as some some of psychological guru but it’s mainly claptrap
Zane is great! There’s no par! Love the guy - he creates the environment, he opens it so the artists express themselves. He’s the man!
I always saw it as Lowe wanting to create the atmosphere of a conversation much rather than an interview. Not everyone likes this style, but I think it creates a nice environment.
Omg me too…
What mic is Lewis on? It looks so sick!!!
Earthworks Audio Ethos
Is it just me or is it awkward with the randomers at the back? Good interview though!
matty healy is the only rock legend that the 2000s gave us
wow....such a naive comment.
@@pullywullypirate he's one of them most definitely. But there are a few others too, strokes arctic monkeys etc I suppose
I’m from near Cumbernauld.
Big up The ‘Nauld🎉
Son was his Photographer! He told me!
Jesus, the host is a pain to listen to.
i wish zach would shut up for a minute and let the guest speak
Who were all these people with Lewis there?
I really don’t like this interviewer, he needs to listen more. He really is pretentious.
A lot of braveheart Scots people understand how to overcome many chalenges, some of the worst.
❤❤❤
Maccabees….. yes
Why would you not check out a house before you buy it?
Didn't think I'd be hearing about Cumbernauld in this interview but there you go
Mental wealth and skill .
@lewiscapaldi do you play piano because I just noticed you have very nice LONG fingers?!!!
I was lazy at School, but I did later.
6:55
Zane Lowe's sycophantic, pretentious and overcompensating energy is cringeworthy.
He's ridiculous bro I don't like him
The harsh truth buddy, but its still entertaining in sum way
I wish he would just talk like 20% less. And just listen to what the other guy is saying
❤
After watching Sam smiths interview this is good but disappointing , the interview being 1to1 allows there to be a connection and get deep in conversation rather than having the "lads" round , like is there really a need to have another 4 people in the shot
Milkin' the nutz to the last drop.
Sein Wesen erinnert mich an Cass Elliot.
I don,t really notice much twitching at all. How brave are you to talk about it.
BOING
Why in Matty kissing the fans on stage?
'cause that's just what matty does
he be like that sometimes
because he's a creep
Could have been a great interview if Lewis got to speak. He’s the guest!!
omg! I feel the same way. He drove me nuts with all his directing the spotlight on himself and giving all this "sage insight and advice". That was crazy making for me.
