Nice thought, but there are three problems with it. One is what the maximum penalty for this specific combination of crimes and the other is that what you and others are advocating for sounds more like retribution than justice in the legal sense. And three, remember, whatever the courts can do to Trump, they can do to anybody. Is that really what you want? Do you really trust the U.S. legal system that much?

I saw that a WWII history channel creator was being attacked by a MAGA as being a “liberal”, people in the comments were saying things like “this is has nothing to do with politics”, “your channel is about history, not politics”. I was blown away that they completely missed the whole part about how Hitler came to power and the factors and causes that led to the radicalization of the citizens of Germany, and how it was directly correlated with the political atmosphere today.
