I don’t suppose there’s a gas-powered varient, that can be sold/imported to the US? Our climate here in the south is far from ideal for electric vehicles-the batteries don’t last as long as they’re supposed to here, and we already had one electric vehicle die out on us, but I need to be able to get something like this to drive around in to work etc, but can’t get a license due to PTSD.

you don't. They are imported as an enclosed mobility scooter. However, there isn't any literature or docs from service ontario describing these. The nexa with steering wheel can be license if someone wanted to

I don't think these are legal for us to use with out a license here in the USA
I have one in Texas. Yes it is legal. It is a Mobility Scooter, not a Motor vehicle.
@@TexasLocalProduce nice but TX laws are different then here in loser Oregon. Because it doesn't have pedals on it they call it an electric vehicle (which is stupid)
