I’ve had one for 5 yrs and it has been such a pleasure to be able to run errands, get to local appointments and more! I just had my sealed led acid batteries replaced for the first time. They had been running low for about 6 months, but overall I got just over 2,000 kms with those first batteries! If you do not have a garage I recommend a cover when parked! Helps buffer the batteries when we are experiencing temperature extremes. I have to park outside and use a cover.
I had mine for 3 weeks now sorry going on 3 weeks Friday one thing I noticed in the rain or cold the windows get foggy and it takes a long time to see so I put toothpaste inside the windshield all the windows and I did small circles and I wiped it off with a soft cloth it works great you just jump in no matter if it's raining or very cold and you take off. These little scooters awesome they protect you in the rain and wind there are some things I would change about it but it's an awesome little scooter thank you ride the wind e-bikes
This would be great for running errands.Where I live we have to go to the post office to get our mail,no super mail boxes or door to door delivery-this would be good for those with mobility issues who want to remain independent.
can confirm you are 1000% correct ive had mine for a little over a month, a month and two days. i put 185km on it and haven't left town The first single round trip to the other side of town was today 10km. I went from stressing about having to pay a minimum of $22 and waiting up to 4 hours for a taxi anytime I needed to go across town to do shopping to going out daily last I calculated I saved between $480 and $860 on taxis in the last month with it 5 more months of the high end and ill have saved as much as I bought it for. because I have the gio version that I got at a steep discount $4,158 off. i worked with the police because they were cranky at first trying to find something to charge me with then I met with the chief who agreed they'd lose in court if they tried. I'm protected by both the federal and provincial accessibility acts. the chief just said keep to the right side of the streets and sidewalks on main roads and to not be an asshole on it and he's fine with it. he said he's sure he'll be seeing a lot more of them in town, so he's happy to use me as a test to better understand what they're all about, so I started recording my trips out on it. i have also been in talks with the town about starting a delivery service on it to help out the older or younger disabled folk who dont drive and cant really afford a taxi all the time and or are like me and just have bad pain days where they cant leave the house $5 per delivery plus whatever their purchase was beats $22 in taxis plus their purchase
Build a removable weather enclosure for a used $500 riding lawnmower and gear it to go 30mph in high gear......Then in summer you can make extra money mowing lawns. In winter remove the deck & add a front plow or snowblower to remove snow. You could also make or pay someone who knows what they're doing to put front & rear shocks on the mower from a go-kart. So it handles better when going 30mph down a bumpy road but can still mow.
